If Eyebrows of Freedom were still alive as the colossal titan, it would give Paradis chance for much more peaceful solution in diplomatic talks with the outside nations thanks to his astounding charisma, which was level above Willy Tybur's. And of course there would be no civil war on the island. Just like taking out Levi from action in S2 and now in S4P2 - Isayama deliberately chose to kill Erwin before the basement reveal to lower the chances for Paradis and to realize his idea for the plot in S4. I'd like to watch this version of AoT as much as what we observe currently, if not more.

Attack on Titan is by far one of the best manga/anime out there, ever since the show aired in 2013, I've done nothing but eagerly await the next episode every weekend for the last 9 years. People who argue that My Hero or One Piece are better can suck on the awesome soundtrack, stunning visuals, and incredible story of Attack on Titan.
It may be the best anime but Berserk manga is better imo

The background picture is so beautiful I like the "Shinzou wo sasageyo" of Eren, despite what everybody's thinking about him, he's doing all that for his ethnicity and loved ones he really devoted his heart. And I love when Erwin is added behind Eren and his voice saying "shinzou wo sasageyo" in the middle of the music, he's really missing in the series ! I've became patriotic for a nation that doesn't even exist. Amazing Samuel, thank you for making this version.

Considering with what's going on right now, I believe Eren has something on Paradis that is more precious to him than Paradis itself. That is his family. Yes. I believe the child that Historia is carrying is Eren's.
In the paths speech, Eren talks about protecting, and the screen shows historia looking up with a worried look on her face. That was NEVER in the manga. Also there is a whole song about Historia waiting for someone to arrive. That "someone" gave her their coat, as a way to tell her that they're coming to take that coat back. In other words, that "someone" is saying that they'll return safely to Historia.
When Eren left to Marley to eat the warhammer, he came back and got imprisoned. Then he escapes from prison and walks shirtless and he meets Floch, who's holding the coat that he supposedly gave to Historia before he left to Marley. It's understandable that Floch will have it because ithe Jaegerists might be watching Historia/protecting her. Historia could have sent it through Floch.

I'm not really a big shipping fan if anything Eren x Freedom is my go to but if he were to end up with someone i think it'd be good writing if they did Eren x Historia considering both the characters had massive developments recently and some tiny details like you just pointed out.
Don't get me wrong Mikasa is a ride or die but goddamn is she dull, they could have given her personality alittle more development like with louise or even that asian lady but for some reason they chose not to.

I sometimes forget how epic the scene at 3:06 is. Levi flying of to kill the beast titan when he knows that Erwin, one of his comrades isn't going to survive to see him do it. The fear, but also courage in Erwins eyes, and that all whilst we as the viewer can see Floch behind Erwin when nobody at the time knew Floch was going to be such an important character. Isayama (and also WIT Studio) made a masterpiece!
One of the most iconic line of this show and the whole animeverse : *Shinzou wo Sasageyo* was idealised by Erwin and the scouts but now seeing the same line said by the Yeagerist to support genocide...I'm sure this wasn't the kind of world Erwin would've wanted.

Even to this day, Erwin's speeches still live rent free in my head. It makes me motivated in dealing with difficult situations head on and makes me keep moving forward. He's by far one of the most greatest leaders in AOT and he won't be forgotten for years, 2000 years even.

If there is one character who truly understands Erwin and inherited his will, it is Eren.
The only one willing to do what must be done to achieve his goals and protect his people, even if he must become a monster in the process.
True, many might hate eren for choosing the wrong path. he chose to sacrifice all of humanity to save his people. But he also (spoilers)
He chose to be killed/defeated by his own friends and people so that the world will see them as heroes who helped killing the devil. Eren became the bad guy and sacrificed his life and freedom for theirs. A true hero for his people but monster to the world
And man in the manga... He said that he wanted to live with mikasa and armin.

Remember before Erwin went out to retake Eren from Armored Titan, he had a conversation with Pixis, there was the quote from Erwin: "Human will continue to fight one another until the day that there's one human or less"_ That's what I think Erwin was far beyond from predicted, and Pixis said to Erwin that not like him, Pixis first priority was Humanity. It meant Erwin's goal was not humanity's first place but his personal own archive.
Erwin didn't trust the government either, he said to Nile: "This tiny world is about to change. Will it bring hope or despair? Can we trust the government with the future of humanity or not? Who gets to choose? Who decides? Who will you trust?".
Because The Government choose to take Eren's power to length for another and sacrifice Historia if needed, Eren didn't trust the Government too.
In conclusion, I quite think about if Erwin was still alive, he would have his own plan. Can he agree with Eren's plan if Eren shared it with him? Nobody knows. But I can be for sure that Erwin had his dark side, he died like a true hero after giving up his goal, because he had Levi as his light to guide, Eren didn't. Eren didn't share his dark side with his friends but carried on by himself and choose to be a villain so his friends can be heroes. It's really sad, however, it makes sense because if Erwin was still alive, the story would become wayyyyy too complicated to reach the end.

For me, I was mostly smacked with flashbacks of my good old days new to anime and watching/reading Attack on Titan.
They've grown so much, we've grown so much
Two reasons I'm not ready for Attack on Titan to end:
1. I love this story.
2. The music is some of the best I have ever heard. And we may never get a soundtrack like it ever again.
I like how,even though most of the audience would have forgotten him,but mappa didn't and still shows Mike zacharius, humanity's second strongest soldier standing besides Erwin.

The real protagonist of SnK was not only eren but the entire survey corps (erwin, levi, hange, petra, gunther, oluo, mike, nanaba, all the 104th cadets, etc.), they all devoted their hearts to the very end for freedom and changed the world.
3:47 when it showed the past of the 104th cadet corps joining the survey corps. It was awesome seeing the young recruits devote their hearts to join the legion of heroes with God king erwin smith.

This is the OST that makes Emotional while giving goosebumps. I've never listened such epic legendary OST in my life. I'm Glad that I watched in the best time possible that time was best time to me. Those days were much more than Golden days of my life but now those days are gone and AOT is gonna end this weekend (saturday) and I'm very sad to think this week from yesterday (sunday) will be the last week of AOT Era 🥺💔
Am I the only one who feels sad every time someone (other than the scouts who know the meaning of the phrase) says “shinzou wo sasageyo”. Like it doesn’t feel the same anymore because the people saying it now (floch 🤮, the jaegerists, and the civilians who never gave a damn about the scouts) have no clue what it truly means. The meaning remained even when the man who gave it meaning died giving his heart for humanity. HE made that phrase important because he was a leader who expected nothing from his soldiers that he wasn’t willing to do himself. He lead what was left of the scouts straight to death’s door because he knew that on that battlefield, his job would be complete despite never achieving his dream. Erwin Smith was a true leader. Floch could never.
I see where you're coming from but at the same time "dedicate your hearts" means whatever you want it to mean, Erwin used that as motivation to get hundreds of his soldiers killed in hopes that that'll open the potential doors to the "truth" and in hopes to live another day. Floch is doing the same exact thing, like him or not he's still fighting for his own country and in my eyes the 2nd best leader after Erwin. It's very clear with Hange's incompetence and Armin passive optimism that they're not ready to lead in the slightest. TLDR like Erwin, Floch sees his "truth" and he'll stop at nothing regardless of body count to get it done.
