That's a nice Scandinavian dance tune, we used to play and dance to Hackeys polka which is an old Norwegian tune. You play folk tunes and songs so well.
Beautiful music and so well played! Bach by you will also sound very lovely, I'm sure. A while ago I saw your videos of the Chamber Music (text James Joyce) you wrote. I was pleasantly surprised by this very beautiful music!
Hi Anna, I love the teapot, the big question is are you going to use it to make tea? Your cello playing is wonderful. It's a new tune to me. If you'd like to play a piece by Bach then why not? You are a wonderful musician and should never put yourself in a box. I made my living playing in a country music band but as well as our own compositions we would cover songs by people like Richard Thomson and Vin Garbutt, we even delved in songs by people like Bruce Springsteen. I don't know what that has to do with Bach but I hope you know what I mean. Sometimes the country music purists would say it wasn't proper country music we performed. We did do the odd folk festival too and not once did anyone say that isn't proper folk music if we played a Hank Williams song.
Hi Rod, thank you for the lovely comment and sharing your experience. That genre boxing thing is something I find difficult to navigate in the profession. So Bach it is and yes I am definitely using the tea pot to make tea! Mmm
Nice little teapot 🫖Must be thirsty work all that cello playing 🎼

Thank you so much, I love the Scandinavian ones. They’re often more quirky harmonically; this is fairly straight but full of joy
Well played Anna-another treat from you😊
Thank you Wayne! 😊

Thank you André, then you shall have a little Bach next week 😊. Chamber Music was my first serious attempt to write music and I learned a lot from it.
Wow!! 👏👏👏
Thank you!
Please play some solo Bach. I enjoy your weekly visits so much. Today was wonderful.
Bless you Ross, thank you so much!
Seconded 👍
