I was traveling back to Ohio that day. It was an all night trip and I hit Nashville at 6am. The entire way to Columbus was obnoxious Tennessee fans causing traffic and clogging the gas stations. Not even a OSU fan but I was so happy when I saw that score line.
Im going to respectfully disagree. There is a LOT missed in measuring the length of your GP. You gave the prime example, you are well outclassed in GP, but you punch up based not on your relic levels, but your mods. That 6% offense mod is doing more for your stats than a relic level is. Most of GP is found in things like relic all characters (especially pilots) and zetas. So a lot of that is mostly useless until a random cron comes and makes Eeth Koth a powerful character or Lumi powerful for a raid. Relic levels only gate a few things. Character/ship unlocks, raid scores, the new ABs and TB planets. The only other place that relic levels are outperforming great mods are for tanks and pilots if they give speed to their ship. If you care about PvE and are missing out content because of relic level gates, then by all means focus more on those. Or if you need to relic to unlock a new character, go for it! But if you are looking to improve your overall game, including PvP, then stick with your mod focus. Of course Crons > Mods for time limited use. Leverage your strengths (your outstanding mods). You consider yourself an above avg player. Id agree. But then you advocate for comparing yourself and trying to mimic avg players. You compared yourself to your GAC group. They all looked similar in GP and relics and you looked different. They were the avg and you are the above avg. So how are you doing it? Its not relic levels. Its mods. By shifting your focus to relic levels you will trend down towards the avg. My suggestion is to slowly upgrade strategic relics while still focusing on your strength, which is mods. And for some extra GP, spend some zeta mats if you have been hoarding. Also build all the old characters (ones who only need kyro for the finisher), to relics with the mk1 raid currency. Put 6dot mods on your pilots. And for goodness sake, if anyone at 10m+ has characters below g7, no mods or less than lvl 85..... go clean up your roster.
