We are living in a time that artists that you won't hear in mainstream media are gaining fanbases globally. He's an incredible storyteller, storywriter, and story actor.
Hammer on and pull-off may be fairly easy on an electric guitar, but there's nothing simple or easy with what Ren is doing here on an acoustic guitar. Nice reaction ladies, loved mum's input and shout outs to the greats. RIP Chris Squire 💛🤘🤙✌️
Hey looks like your trending a little in the Reniverse. great perspective from you and love mum who obviously has a long history of music and knowledge to share. Ren bridges generation gaps for sure. Keep up the good work and Renegades will follow. Onwards to 1k subs, added mine.
Great reaction. Really heartbreaking real storytelling... I suppose, you would love his rendition of "Bittersweet Symphony" live, released few weeks ago.
Love this reaction and you both! - girl you should make your reaction the big version and the song the small version - one of the things a reaction video viewer wants to see is other peoples facial reactions as the song goes on, what they gasp at, what makes them wince, etc :D
Great reaction! My only complaint is that the video of you and your mom is so small that I really couldn't see your facial expressions while watching this on my phone. My advice would be to make your image much larger and rems video smaller as we've all seen the original and we're here to see your reaction
Enjoying the reaction! I would like to make a suggestion though. I'm having a hard time seeing you and your lovely mom. I'll bet the vast majority of is have seen Ren's video, (many times😁) so were really here to see you. Come forward, be big, we want to see your wonderful faces as you react! 😊
This is a Tragedy worthy of Shakespeare and Deeper than most may realize. Ren wrote Violet's Tale in 2019 and He Set Violet's Tale in 2005 When Violet moved out on Welfare at 16, considering what her Father did to her, Jenny and Screech may actually be her Half Siblings as well, explaining why she has a "Welfare Flat" at 16. Jenny is just like Violet was as she never says a word when Screech attacks her, and Screech, just like Violet's Father has a Violent Temperament. A True Terrible Masterpiece!
Ren read a newspaper article some years back about a young street mugger and a young prostitute. The tales of Jenny and Screech were born. It took a further 2 years before he came up with the Violets tale idea. At that time he then released the first two and Violets tale. The first two had been sitting and waiting the shelf waiting for the right time to be released... Great reaction. UK Renegade here 🇬🇧🇬🇬🇬🇧👍🏼👍🏼😁
Ren's dad plays medieval music on the Lyre and storytelling and that wandering minstrel style has rubbed off on him.Super talented. If you listen to,Power,by him he says about domestic violence in his younger days.power is an uplifting track though. Subbed
❤❤❤ it is just incredible. Ren is very Empathetic. Modern day Tragedy sparked by the apathy he saw in a news story where everyone just said "its such a shame." We are failing in stopping domestic & generational violence & abuse, then also failing the children caught in the middle or left behind. Cool you saw YES. ❤ I have seen many guitarists watch these tales & say that on an electric it is much easier to do the finger picking, but him doing it on an acoustic is actually not that easy, and they were very impressed.
Sorry for the second comment - I’m from the UK myself good old English bred, knife crime is an issue here to be sure, but they make headlines because it’s mad when it happens, it’s out of the ordinary. It’s not epidemic and doesn’t happen all the time. Whereas gun crime in the USA, is happening daily. A mad fact - more people die from gun crime in the USA in one day, than people die in the UK from knife crime in one year. It’s crazy! Love you guys :) ❤
The environment was the same, just the family has changed. It's sad, but the environment is basically our broken system itself. Hence more Jennies and Screeches being made everyday.
Jenny was a 14 year old walking the street at night. She was a prostitute, love. And Patrick wasn’t there to help Screech bc Patrick was with Screech’s gf.
💯....More like Ren makes it look easy on an "acoustic" guitar, fooling people that it's easy. That accomplishment hitting just the right spots with speed an accuracy is much tougher than one thinks.
How do 12 year olds only get several years for killing with a machete? Danm, just a tragedy but in USA they would be under the jail in the south! Enjoyed your Ren experience!! New sub!
ive just got to say it twice he said Screech was 14 once he said he was a youth, and another time he called him a kid and Screech called himself a boy so how could you get he was 40

"Late night fighting" "Love Dying" Certainly domestic friction, not sure I'd say "violence" without knowing more.

When I hear this guitar opening, I think of Richie Blackmore of Deep Purple playing "Child in Time"!
Enjoyed the both of you. Renagades :)
When people ask what Genre is Ren, the simple answer the Genre is Ren.
Evidently Chickentown
I cannot wait for mums reaction to Veronica's tales❤

@emilysingz96 Yes ♥️

Ren got the idea for Jenny tale from news paper he read about a 14 year old boy killing a streetwalker with a Knife
I think mom was so preocupied with inner city violence that she missed the point of how the entire three part story was connected.

Some believe Jenny was a street walker.
I think there are levels to fingerpicking, and that Ren is probably doing something a bit more complicated than average with it....

so on ren he has not had formal guitar training/lessions
FYI, your mic is really peaking when you raise your voice, when your mother is talking it's perfect. Maybe it's your proximity to the mic.
