Which is why they need to make a rule and allow a 30 sec review on physical penalties after a whistle. There are far too many penalties that go uncalled. Had that obvious trip in Toronto been called, that goal would never had happened. Also phantom calls that just aren't....seeing far too many of those too. Officiating NEEDS to be dealt with league wide period.
Avs fan here. Was pissed that there was a no call on the high stick on Toews. Then i realize they reviewed and called a double minor. I was confused that they can review a penalty that was never called. I shrugged and stopped complaining.
Perhaps Brendon Dillon should have avoided the post game scrum instead of trying to be thug to make a point? Instead of skating to the locker room, the jets tried to make a point about how tough they were when the game was already over KARMA. The 3rd period was particularly bad, with 2 Avs’ PP goals and a shorty. Yet even-strength play wasn’t good, with the Avs’ having outscored the Jets 3-1 on that aspect of game 3.

When the Jets are in their own end five on five it looks like we are killing a penalty. Boxing around Helly and leaving the blue line guys way open.

Bettman got a hold of them and said they had to penalize the Jets. He doesn't; want Canadian teams advancing in the playoffs. Bad for business.

The main difference is that the Jets actually won a few games against the Oilers.

The Jets special teams have been weak all year and really gets exposed in playoffs. Colorado is very fast and we having difficult time adjusting

Tough road ahead…don’t really think Jets can win 3 of the next 4. Colorado is just too strong…
