  • I’m making videos for the actual guy that works. Patagonia workwear, Truewerk and 1620 Workwear. I own a landscape company and work in the field every day. I have tried nearly every workwear brand out there. So I actually use these daily. Truewerk is currently my top dog. I will keep you posted on these 1620 double fronts. Clothing technology has passed up Carhartt, Dickies and all of those brands that you have to break in. Granted, Carhartts will last a long time, but why suffer when you don’t have to. Guys that work don’t have time to break pants in.

After about a month of wearing the 1620’s, they are badass. Feel good out of the gate and seem bulletproof. But price and comfort I’m still a Truewerk guy. But this is just one normal guys opinion.

You should make a video on them

If you want a lighter option for warmer weather? Try a pair of the shop pants from 1620. Awesome pants!

Any idea where the Truewerk pants are made. I a big fan of buying products made in the USA. I definitely want to try the 1620 pants but man they are expensive. However I do burn through work pants so maybe I'd save money if they last longer

Not sure where they are actually made. The labels say nothing. I can say this. My oldest pair is 3-4 years old and the only hole I have is from welding. They definitely aren't made for that. But the 1620's are pretty awesome. Best comparison i can make is 1620's are old school work pants with some cool upgrades. They do seem bulletproof. Truewerk is like pants an athlete would wear for performance. I love both. Maybe I'll do an updated video.

@@lexislandscape8345 I bought a couple pairs of Truewerk. I haven't worn them enough to get an idea if I'll stick with them or not. They are comfortable but I don't like where the 2 front belt loops are placed. I like my pants a little big on me and then wear a belt. When I tighten the belt those 2 front belt loops basically get in the way of my belt buckle if that makes sense. Made in Bangladesh

Truewerk pants are made in Bangladesh.

Just bought some 1620 pants. Have you noticed any shrinking from washing?

Not at all actually. I have to say I’m loving these!!!!!

I strictly wear 1620 and the utility 2.0 are my favorite.

I am a year in with them. They are amazing pants. I actually added a new pair but you just aren't beating the comfort of Truewerk. And Truewerk seems to hold up just as well.

So what's ur opinion on truewerk vs 1620?

    • @lexislandscape8345
      @lexislandscape8345  ปีที่แล้ว

So I’ve run the 1620’s twice now. They are awesome. But you just can’t beat the comfort of Truewerk. If I was comparing to something I’d say the 1620’s are comparable to Carhartt but way more comfortable and fit better.

Is washing the Truewerk finnicky? Tumble low, etc, etc. That drives me nuts.

I have the Truewerk T2 pants. Zero shrinkage but I wash in eco warm water and tumble dry low heat for about 10 minutes then hang them on a door hook to dry overnight.

Have you used the T1 truewerk? They're lighter than T2 and suppose to be great for hot weather! Im wondering if I should pull the trigger or not. I'm big into workwear too. I work outdoor construction year round.

    • @lexislandscape8345

How about kuhl? I bought the free ryder and I like them, but they may be too warm for summer.
