That's sounds..... like you're over stretching your range.......
You need to slowly creep up to bigger notes gradually not go from being an alto then really trying to hit an extremely high soprano note.
Please don't do this is wears out your voice so much and makes it so you can't sing as well as you are now!!

@@berth33 try warming up your voice with some exercises before.
@@berth33 scales and go up by steps on the piano and then go back down. I am not sure how knowledgable on notes and music you are, but if you ever seen Sound of Music "Do a dear, a female dear etc." that is a scale. I also sing easier songs to warm my voice up to sing the others that take a little more control and air. Try to do that before you sing each time and practice. You will get better with time.
