Hi ladies! Those looked so good and they reminded me of baking with my mom every Christmas. We used to make on very similar but the dough was made with cream cheese and they had an apricot or raspberry filling. We cut the dough into squares and overlapped 2 of the points to seal. They looked like Kolache's. The were so delicious and even more special because we only made them at Christmas along with the Struffoli, what would Christmas be without some Struffoli. Have a great week! 🤗♥️
Hi Meg! Aww I love these memories! thanks for sharing them with us! Baking with mom is the best, especially at Christmas time. It makes everything more magical and special!
@@AnitalianinmyKitchen well that really doesn't tell me much there are many sizes so not sure what you considered "medium " size ( 2 inch , 2 1/4 inch , 2 1/2 inch , 3 inch , etc)
@@dawnamendola8690 mine is a 3 inch cutter but you can also use a 2 inch or 2 1/4 if you want them a bit smaller. That's why I said medium, sorry for the confusion.
This is the easiest recipe I have eve rmade. I have the dough in the fridge now. Can’t wait to try them!

These were amazing ! The dough is so tasty. Also made them with homemade jam, also delicious. Thank you !
Hi Julie! That's great! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed these cookies! They're so worth it! :D
Why did you put it back in the fridge before baking?
So that they stay cool and they don't spread as much when they're in the oven :)
Look delicious….will definitely try them! Question…do you use unsealed butter?
Thanks Kathy! you'll definitely love these cookies! :D yes we use unsalted butter :)
Hello Ladies ,These look so good. Could you tell me if i can freeze them?
Hi Kimberly! They really are! you can freeze these by placing them in a container and they will last up to 2 months :)

@@AnitalianinmyKitchen great ! Thank you !
for a non dairy version, can I use coconut oil instead of the butter ?
We've never tried it, but we think that could work! You could give it a try and see :) let us know how it goes!
Thank you
Mine came out terrible. Too crumbly and I couldn’t fold it. So sad. Oh well
Hi Tina, if the dough is crumbly add more butter, that should help make the dough softer. Hope that helps if you decide to try and make them again!
Where is thé recipe (quantities)
