Further Explanation:
It's not hard to understand, but it's difficult to explain.
Basically, the A.I. works much like our brains, in that it develops unique pattern recognition of particular visual elements or some given art piece and it's related context.
And in this case, I use that model to reinterpret a video I made, one of me singing in front of a greenscreen and moving my head around to the pink floyd song "time" at 2x speed, meaning that I sped up the song.
Then I slowed down that recorded footage of me, to make it normal speed with the original song, and edited the greenscreens color to have more trippy looking visuals, and rendered out that video
then I gave that rendered video to an A.I. to reinterpret. I gave it specific prompts to try and re interpret the footage into, like roman statue head or what ever it might be. in this case I made a custom model as well of my old highschool art teachers art because I like his art so much.

It's called "Time" and it's about time! Do you mean, the coming of inevitable death? I basically grew up with this song, before I had much awareness of my own death. Seemed pretty natural to me. Do you know the term "Memento mori"? Death's all around us, all the time.
I still remember that first time in the back of my Dad's car for sure. Like it was yesterday. I'd heard the song more than a few times prior but like you said I finally understood the song! That's what got me into music looking back on it now in retrospect.. I was hooked!

It’s as if we’re watching the A.I react to the song, the lyrics, the melody, this is it’s emotions and thoughts as the song progresses, it even moves around in the way a human might if they were having these emotional reactions, the figure “rocking out” to certain parts, while looking around almost confused in others, and at the very end I love how it looks like we see the “camera” get turned around to see things from the A.I’s eyes (say that 5 times, fast) then what you see is the A.I in the world, as if it’s a part of the whole

This one is ok but i got sick of looking at the same face but the echoes one is a masterpiece so many images.
Impressive - I really like the timing on the transitions and how for a change, we're mostly kept out of the grotesque. Fabulous.
I consider Pink Floyd one of the best bands of all time, so many amazing unique songs. And they are the perfect fit for these AI videos. These are all amazing!
Another fascinating, beautiful, & sometimes frightening way to experience Pink Floyd. Comparing this to the Echoes video, I can only wonder what the A.I. would come up with while listening to "Welcome to the Machine." That would be an interesting counterpart to these 2 vids. I’m amazed at how similar these are to a mushroom trip - where your brain is generating so much detail and it’s changing so fast you barely have time to notice and apréciate it all.
I think a lot of the faces between 1:00 and 2:00 during the drum part are very Nick Mason-like. I wonder how much of that is seeded by the person running the AI and how much of that is just the AI associating Pink Floyd drumming with Nick Mason.

I do prefer the projections that Floyd/Waters do on their screen when performing this masterpiece over this not-to-the-song related artwork. Honestly, this video could accompany almost every song of about 7 minutes and 20 seconds. I fail to see any connection with the music/song.

Was this overlayed and generated over a pre-existing video? You can clearly see the person (you?) under the chaos. It adds a totally different effect, pretty cool. Are your other videos the same? They seem to have less continuity.
I have mixed feeling about this one. It does not match the music as well as the "Echoes" version. And this song has a great potential.

I’m going to say some controversial things in this comment, so tread lightly.
As much as I absolutely love these videos, there is a catch to all this. I believe we are inadvertently signing our own death warrants as a species when we use AI. Most artists don’t realize but their careers are dwindling because they can be replaced by artificial Intelligence. The same goes for EVERYONE.
There isn’t one field or career that isn’t threatened by this. We are by proxy becoming obsolete. We are creating a situation where human work is no longer needed. We will be able to fill these meaningless jobs with AI.
Some of you are probably already saying, “cool!”, and support projects like this page. I am amazed by the artistic value these videos create. I’m in awe of this because I find it hard to believe it wasn’t created by a human, and simply algorithms in a program. In order for this program to work, it still needs human input, that being pictures of artwork that people have created, in order for the AI machine to generate its own images. Once the AI has created enough of its own images, it will no longer need human input.
We need to learn to look past the immediate eye-candy and allure of AI and think more into the future; where this goes as a civilization. We need to learn to recognize threats before they are a problem. Sure the possibility of a life where you sit at home on the metaverse inside VR all day sounds fun and all, the truth is people would become even more depressed then they are now. One of the key tenets of being a human is having a goal, a purpose, a reason to live. Just imagine how people will feel about themselves when every last ounce of that is stripped away. Talk about oppression….
Just some things to think about.
I’ll continue to watch these videos, but I will not use AI for anything a person can do. If you value the human spirit, you should avoid using AI as well. (And before you say anything about a smart phone or watching videos, I’m fully aware that AI is already integrated into almost every aspect of our lives already). We don’t need AI to control everything, nor should we want that as a species
My son, who is studying and using AI, says the same and i think these are correct remarks.
Unfortunately, as with all technological progress, there are benefits as well as risks. Imagine how AI could be very effective and helpful to people with some kind of disability. Like help-dogs can be life-changing for veterans with PTSD.
Currently, given some time and training to us humans, the difference between an AI result and an actual reality result can be very recognizable. But that is rapidly growing harder. It becomes easier for AI to come up with life-like solutions that make the borders between truth and fake information, between virtual and actual output, dwindle very fast.
So keep your head, keep versatile, and keep skeptical about any information you receive.
