I find myself in a lonely place because I am a black male , 72 years old , that has come to realize that there is only one true God; the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the most high God of Isarael. Almost everyone I know is a Christian and I have no one to talk to, but I know that the God that I believe in will provide for me. My faith is stronger than it's ever been and I'm studying and learning more everyday! I can proudly say that I can recite the first 3 verses in the Hebrew bible, which I recite daily. Pray for me.

Brenda Sullivan the temple was destroyed in 70AD Old Testament teaches that God is righteous He cannot look on sin so if there is no day of atonement where is your forgiveness for sin? That is why YHWH sent messiah. Gods word says in the last days false witnesses would raise up to lead His people Israel astray this man will stand before Him one day then we will see how righteous he is.

You would know that the churches do not represent true Christianity. You have sold your soul for a man-made blasphemy - hassidic judaism.

Ariel thats because HaShem is drawing people to himself. He is waiting for people with open hearts who are willing to follow Him. The converts have had enough of the false teachings of the church, have seen all the lies thats in the book , refuse to be blind anymore and have turned to the one true G-d of Israel. When we pray the Shema it opens our eyes to the Oneness of the Creator and ADON OLAM explains it even better.

You did the right thing. Never be ashamed to be one who truly loves G-d, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and jacob.
Our Torah has been translated to conform to the distortions of the NT and its "Christian" apologists. They took our Holy Bible and use it to attack us and G-d Almighty.
But G-d is the Only Reality and He has made Himself known to any who sincerely desires Him.

What an inspiration you are. I started watching you since 2013 and taught me so much of who I really am. I had so many questions too and was always told to not ask anymore. I had so many frustrations and also looking for answers. I also started Shabbat as the first entry into Judaism. I began to see the truth and it’s taken up until now 2023 I am fully converted and living according to the Torah. During Christianity there are so many holes and queries but nobody wants to give you an explanation. I too ran a bible study that grew to about 30 people but I knew there was something missing by just only talking form the New Testament. I knew nothing about the Torah - I refuse to call it Old Testament-as my Rabbi says that there is no Old or New it just Torah. Thank you for your boldness and teaching me when I had first started out. 🇮🇱🇮🇱🕎🕎

I converted 25 years ago. I went before the Bet Din, Had a Ritual circumcision , Went into the Mikvah and that came after a years worth of study, going to services, eating Kosher totally living a Jewish focused life... The next 25 were a miracle after miracle, from finding the perfect Jewish wife, having 2 perfect Jewish children.... All of this led to me embracing Chabad and becoming close friends with the Rabbi and his family.... Life was amazing and one day I was talking to a friend from Chabad and he asked me “Why doesn’t the Rabbi ever ask you to do an Aliyah ?” I never gave it much thought but it was odd that after 10 years I was never asked.. So long story short. I found out that day that he didn’t recognize my Conversion. It wasn’t up to his standards.. It hurt very bad, but my point of this post is that for those considering conversion, please make sure that the people you plan on davening with, will accept you. I was tricked and fooled.. Be very careful..

To me it makes sense that an orthodox conversion is necessary to be an orthodox synagogue. But since your already circumcised it is not difficult to be converted orthodox The reform/ conservative have their own version of conversion which is not accepted by religious orthodox synagogues

I started studying Torah and it answered every question I had from youth to adult about the Bible. My childhood pastors never answered anything of a deep nature. JC was a distraction from my spiritual growth w HaShem.

As a Torah keeper since around 2008, with a Church background it was extremely interesting to do the math of the Lev25 "7-times punishment" of Christian Ephraim-My-Firstborn..which was completed in around 2008-9. ("firstborn" of what, if not the New Covenant?) ...so there is no coincidence that millions of people who know Messiah, as Ephraim/lost 10 tribes are prophesied to in Zechariah10:7 (compare to 12:10) are now turning back to Torah at all cost, by the leading and power of the Ruach HaQodesh. Compare the TWO HOUSES' (Ezekiel37 Sticks) very different responses to the coming of Messiah when deciding which one to be "Ezekiel37 two sticks ASSOCIATED" with on that subject. (!)
LOVE TRUTH, and let the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus define it according to Torah...not traditions. --Shabbat shalom

Yeshua can't save anyone. Stop worshipping a dead man. God says in the Scriptures that only he alone can save.
      Isaiah 43:10-11
      Hosea 13:4
      Psalm 146:3
Additionally, Christians worship a Triune Godhead. This is a very grave error and is a form of idolatry. You are repeating the sin of the Golden Calf. Worshipping a man instead of God.
You don't need to worship a dead man in order to connect to God. You don't need to worship a statue or a golden calf to connect to God. On the contrary, God warns against this multiple times in the Tanach.
Just worship God the Father, not anyone else.
"I am the Lord your God who took you out from the Land of Egypt, from the house of slaves".
"Thou shall not have other gods upon my face". Exodus 20 verses 2-3

I to have left Babylon..... And have lost family and friends with it..... But that really is nothing compared to Finding who the Father is.
This verse sums it all up...
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

When you talk about reading the book on the 'pastor's guide to building a church' and you felt sicker the more you read it. I had a similar experience but in a different way. I was attending church for 2 years and by the 3rd year, I found I couldn't sit in teachings anymore because I would literally feel so sick in my stomach. I would feel like I wanted to vomit. All I saw was a promotion, a business, an entertainment venue. I had this overwhelming feeling like they were desecrating the word of G-d and it made me sick. I had to walk out. In fact, I walked out of a conference by a mega-church that I'd paid $300 to attend. I walked out not even half way through the 1st of of 3 day conference and gave my tickets away. I've been in the Messianic movement for 7 months but i'm just now seeing the truth about who HaShem really is. That Jesus is not the Messiah whether you call him Jesus, or Yeshua. He's still not it! Only the Jews have the knowledge of HaShem. There is only one G-d!

That is true Roseyln, but we Jews have to fend off against the entire world, so we are a bit busy to spread the truth to the non Jewish world. When the Jews do outreach they get caught up with missionaries, so we are very wary to reach out to non Jews. If they are interested they will contact us. Our main focus is Israel due to the many threats we face there. When we bring peace to Israel, we will be able to spread the truth of G-d to the whole world. It will be a time of peace. Know that what you have said is true. We have the tradition back to the first man of creation.

brent heavener Sorry Brent, but maybe it’s time to look at how the Jesus story matches the Greek and Roman mythologies of its day (virgin birth, died for people’s transgressions and on and on). If you compare with an open mind and are seeking truth and not an alternate-truth, you will find that the “Old Testament” proofs of Jesus were cherry picked and taken out of context.

I am stunned that this gentleman did not know the Old testament.
I understand there is a strong difference of opinion of what scripture actually says from what my Rebbe's said and from what pastor's say.
While I highly respect my Jewish heritage and my mother side of the family that strongly remains Jewish. I believe after much study that Jesus is the Messiah.

I really recommend to anybody to study your Bible thoroughly and carefully, compare Tanakh to NT and see the disconnect. Compare the NT to Roman paganism and see how it is the same pagan belief system dressed in Hebrew drag. Messianic prophecy shows clearly that Yoshke cannot be HaMaschiach. look carefully and Hashem will lead you to the light.

Shalom Rosemary, I, too, have found myself in agreement with these testimonies. About your question: Where is Yeshua found in Torah? I, too, have looked for this without success. Where is Yeshua, or the messiah, prophesied to provide atonement, sacrifice? It is non-existent. There was complete forgiveness (Ezekiel 18, etc.) long before the writings of Yeshua.
      Shalom on your journey!

    • @kimberlymcnally6345

Stephanie Johnson Ah, I used to see the same thing in the text. By looking backward from the Christian bible, I truly believed that I 'saw Jesus/Yeshua on every page'. It is very dangerous to interpret backwards. We must start out in the beginning, in the native language and without Christian eyes- without preconceived notions, willing to put everything on the table- scrutinizing everything. John 14:6 and similar verses held me back for years, but fear should never prevent us from being honest and seeking truth. Our spiritual life is on the line, not to mention those we affect.
Both Strong's 3468, which is the reference for 'yesha', and Strong's 3444, which is reference for 'yeshuah' translate as 'salvation' in Hebrew. The Psalms and several other places in scripture make use of this noun. Are all of these references to a person, man, messiah? Of course not. Every verse only makes reference to YHWH himself- no one else. He states clearly and repeatedly that he is one (not three), does not take form, is not a man, and will not share his glory with another. He is infinite and the worship of any other is idolatry. When looking at the scriptures, there are clear and unclear texts. It is unjust and untruthful to reinterpret that which is clear for the convenience of adding manmade and false doctrine.
I hope you will seek truth, the one true Almighty, and be blessed on your journey.

Amazing story Burach Hashem welcome home!!
I grew up new age and spent my life seeking God. I didn't have a clue what or who it was. I was actually very anti Christian my entire life. But I have a massive wind as Hashem in my room and didn't know what to do anymore I knew there was ONE God echad!!! Shama Yisrael YHWH elohaynu YHWH echad!!! So... in 2016 I had this happen but we are in a Christian nation so when we tell people this happens to us they think Christian. I couldn't ever be filled, I hated their holidays, left the church 4 months later because it wasn't feeding me. I would weep and weep because I knew I couldn't worship another i.e Jesus but it was all I had around me. But I saw Paul the liar last year but by April of this year found Judaism. I then found out I am Jewish and knew this is why my soul just couldn't be Christian. That deep yern is so real and now I have peace.
I had found myself in every teaching from everywhere within Christianity. For 3 months the anti Semitic movement was around me. As soon as I had shared I was Jewish I was fed trash that the Jews today aren't the real ones, but somehow I was 🤔 shameful I fell for it. Disgusting but I saw the suffering servant Israel in Isaiah 53 and repented hard core.

I hope you don't actually believe that Paul was a liar. He wasn't a liar, people just twisted his words.
Even Paul argued against the things people said about the law.
Peter called Paul's words scripture and said the uninformed and unstable were twisting his words to their own destruction.
Paul was an Apostle of Yahushua.
Don't toss Paul's words aside, just the anti christ, anti God, anti law interpretation of his words.
Real " Christianity " is Biblical Judaism ( not rabbinical judaism) with the understanding that Yahushua is the Messiah.

  • @charlesfoster575
    @charlesfoster575 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Rod, my heart breaks for your experience in the Church, but then, that is the result of Mt7:23 lawlessness. At the same time, my heart is touched by your sincere choices and as far as I am concerned, you are far better off now than you were shilling for a false lawless gospel which God in His love for you would not allow, by causing "your peace to return to you" so you left that house as Messiah commanded. HalleluYah! I have laid down everything to be faithful too, in a different circumstance, but no less challenging. I was hoping you would be able to tell me why you said "Torah Judaism" was necessary "for the knowledge of Hashem" that you now have, since application of knowledge is the only costly aspect of learning something. Also, the claim that "Judaism has no God, but rabbis" is not completely unfounded as they have their own brand of "unlearned Pentecostal preachers" who are following Babylonian (Talmud) worship traditions that Messiah NAILED to the wall of Torah conviction in Mark7:9. Right? We are NEVER going to find that righteous leader or ecclesia free from error you said you wanted to find, brother. We are that leader...and we are never going to be completely free from error, because God shares His glory with no man! The most published man in rabbinical Judaism (once called Pharisees) distilled that perfectly in Romans11:26-36--"God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all."
We must simply point to Him and TaNaKh as you exemplified so well when speaking with the Pastor who was on the fence between loving Truth/Torah and the comfort of towing the line of the false lawless "gospel." The only thing I disagreed with in this whole testimony is probably not a actual theological position, but your claim that "all Truth and everything God does is found in TaNaKh" is technically not the case if I am reading it correctly...The Bible contains perfect eternal Truth, but is only partial, as the Truth is infinite and incalculable by man! The Holy Spirit is only a "deposit" on the complete fulfillment of the New Covenant by which ALL TRUTH will be written on our hearts, no longer requiring study to attain (as we do today) when we are finally with Him and like Him...and He will THEN drink "the cup" again with us on Pesach!" Amen?
I keep Torah, as Messiah did, and I suppose I am a bit curious how you now approach the Prophetic fulfillment of the moed of Pesach at 3pm in 30 AD...or for that matter, what YHWH is perceived to have been saying through the Four Temple Miracles which began that same year? Another significant issue that I am very interested to know how you process is the Dt19:15 requirement of two or three witnesses to establish a word, as it relates to the ages of seven Patriarchs at the time their first son was born in Bereshit11:12-24. As far as I can see, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Samaritan Pentateuch and the Septuagint/LXX all agree with the ages of the Patriarchs listed in those verses, while the Masoretic Text has removed 650 years! Jeremiah23 has quite a lot to say about wicked Shepherds who do violence to Torah and even constrain Israel to forget the sacred Name of YHWH Eloheinu that we are commanded to call upon...and I am in hopes that a man as sincere as you are to pay whatever price is required to be faithful to Torah and the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus, that the blessing to all who love Truth will be the result. Our Creator knows that we all have much to be humble about, so I hope and pray that these things will supplement that humility so that our Micah6:8 love for justice and to do what is right will be even more fruitful and a LIGHT to all who put their hope in YHWH and His son, our Messiah who we await with faithful anticipation and love.
I do think that we need to refer to the calling that you refer to as "Torah Judaism" as what Messiah and His talmidim called it: "The Way."
Equally, I am disposed to call it what Abba called it: "ONE LAW FOR ONE PEOPLE: Y'ISRAEL." It's ALL about Him, not any man, or tribe...and all His people are to be a Light to the Nations.
Are you in Shabbos fellowship somewhere in the Houston area? I am in Port Aransas, and get to Houston often. I am constrained to ask, brother: "who do you say that Jesus of Nazareth is?"
    Shabbat shalom berakhah ve-tovah 🕎

Might want to study the book of Galatians. Yoking yourselves to the Torah will not save you. You’re placing yourselves in bondage to something that will only condemn you. By keeping just one part of the Law, you are bound to keep it all and thus be judged accordingly. Yet there is a better way and few will find the narrow way which leads to life everlasting.

Talking about keeping the whole law, yet you're not keeping a single mitzvah.

Thank you, brother! I am teary eyed as I type this! Completely moving testimony!! I've been a Christian about 36yrs, most of my life! I was deceived the entire time!!! Most of that Christian walk was dead, non passionate, backslidden, just looking for one church after another to FIND THE TRUTH! For about 10yrs, I have been disgruntled about Christmas, Easter, etc...... completely quit church. I got tired of trying! About a year ago, something interesting happened, I became interested in Shabbat, so did my mother, who lives in another state. I still felt, for a while that reading the Bible (my NIV) was a chore!! I made myself do it. No passion there, at all. I started seeing teachings on Torah and like Reuven said there was a spark, something there, and I started losing sleep. I talked to God constantly about what was stirring in me. I thought I don't want to be a Jew, and have to follow another religion. I had even (10yrs ago) gone to a Messianic Jewish Synagogue, with my mom, and I thought "what am I doing here? I'm not a Jew!" I don't belong here! So, I returned to my Charismatic Christian Church, where I felt I belonged. I didn't even want to call myself CHRISTIAN, for a long time. Now my mind is blown!! I have The Complete Jewish Study Bible, and I am seeing more than I ever had in scripture!!! Why ME Yeshua??? Because I'm seeking the truth, FINALLY and it is being revealed! I am grafted in, and have always been!!! Get ready, believers! If you are truly seeking the truth, you will find it!! Be prepared to be floored!! May you all find Yeshua's truth!
Now when people ask, I say, I'm Jewish!

Dizziemiss Lizzie You call yourself Jewish and you still think “the truth” belongs with Jesus? Maybe, you could study a little deeper. Hope you find what you are looking for and hope it isn’t to convert Jews to believe in Jesus (your Yeshua). If I’m misunderstanding your last few statements, then, I apologize and wish you well on your journey of discovery.

I left the christian religion after 30 years. when 911 happened and the preachers never exposed how it was an inside job, it woke me up. then I found that the pre trib rap is a lie. so I started studying the occult religion of Babylon and saw what was being repackaged to me. I found out that Paul was a huge deceiver. then I started watching videos from a jew showing why they reject the NT. God never answered my prayers when I was a christian. I now keep the 10 commandments. I am not in a religion. now I am reaching out to christians and being a light to bring them out of that paganism.

If JESUS CHRIST isn’t the way YESHUA? Than why so many people are being killed being martyrs why so many people in The world hate HIM? Why so many in the world deny HIM? Why so many religion reject HIS TEACHING AND TRUTH?

I've known a few who meet in assemblies but never knew Him. I'm glad this guy realised it's about relationship, not just knowledge.. But to divorce the one for the same sounds nuts. Catholicism was wrong and led the assembly away, but this was not what the disciples saw and experienced.
