- Today's Animal Jam conspiracy follows the idea that Zios, who has always appeared to be on Jamaa's side, may actually be the king of the phantoms.

Or, maybe Mira's sadness materialized into a strange, evil being, and the phantoms being formed by Mira's tears wasn't supposed to be taken literally. This means the phantoms are more of a hologram, kinda like the Gems in Steven Universe. Think about it: the phantoms' bodies aren't left behind when they are killed by a boomseed, they just... disappear. So Mira's sorrow took it's own form, a phantom king, and started to cause more destruction by spawning tiny versions of themselves. Protophantoms represent Mira wanting to separate herself from the rest of creation, because her sadness is causing destruction. Protophantoms run away as soon as they see an animal, like Mira stays hidden from the rest of Jamaa, and probably Zios, because she feels bad. But her sadness gives the phantoms strength to keep existing, so Zios is off trying to find his lover to show her that she can fix her mistake, which is why we don't see Zios. But, that's just a theory, an ANIMAL JAM THEORY

When Zios made Mira cry, all the evil inside of her came out, thus creating the phantoms. As soon as the phantoms were created, Mira became this beautiful, pure being. Then, realizing what happened, she created the animals to help her fight the phantoms, but she got killed in the fight. The animals built statues of her so that they would remember their creator and wouldn't have to accept her death. Anyways, that's what I think.

Just a little observation, Mira and Zios are just like Gaea and Uranus, or, Mother Earth and Father Sky from Greek mythology. They had a similar story
I love that Julian didn't even consider the concept that Mira and Zios are not phantoms. BUT they may be made from the same magic. As in Phantoms are just a more corrupted accumulation of this type of magic.

I think that Mira is kind of an anti-phantom, and that is why the rare brightly colored phantoms were by her statue in Jamaa Township.
when you started explaining that Zios was keeping in touch with the phantoms by using lightning and that he was corrupting the natural world, it got me thinking. what i the phantoms aren't actualy bad? since Zios was corrupting the natural world, wouldn't life be considered natural as well? so if Zios was corrupting the natural world, he would be corrupting life as well.and we know that the phantoms are a form of life because the can die and hurt others, so it would only make sense that he was controlling the phantoms, possibly using the lightning to remind the phantoms that he is there, so maybe he threatened the phantoms or something like that?
This actually makes me think about Zios being Greely, who is also the Phantom King. This seems far fetched, but it just randomly came to me.

But then again, phantoms were trained to hate and kill jammers. And since Zios was mad at her because she made jammers, thats the thing, her tears were made into phantoms and the tears were made because Zios was mad at her. And also the Mask could have been ripped from him and the reason why the phantoms come when you sleep is to show their mark that they have been there and that they will be back.

For anyone not on Instagram: Animal Jam has said that Julian is no longer a jambasator. Julian is very upset, and said he is quitting. Just a status update, hope this helps any confused beans. Hopefully he'll change his mind and come back, or at least make a final goodbye video. Let me know if you have any questions. We're all mourning tonight :(

ZIOS IS A PHANTOM TOUCAN I CALLED IT!!!
If you think about this scientifically, If the phantom gene is a recessive trait rather than a dominant, both mira and Zios would have to both carry the trait. But if the phantom gene is dominant, then only Mira is a phantom. But on the other hand this is a kids game, so maybe the pain and sadness of Mira creates phantoms, so the phantoms are a symbol of Mira's pain.

My thoughts were: that the only way to trap the phantoms was that Zios closed the hole where the phantoms come out and so he saved Jamaa but he was forever stuck there..
That would actually make sense! Plus when his mask fell, the eyes turned purple and rain fell onto one of the eyes as a tear, saying goodbye to his love for Mira forever.
