Just visiting Amsterdam for the first time and we are enjoying the walks along the canals and eating out. Discovering the cheese stores and were tickled to see Stubbe Hotdogs. We know a Stubbe back home in Canada who has as store where he sells his home made chocolates. So good!

Huge thanks to Florrie and the 2 randos for helping out with that one. Nicky, I wouldn't get too close to record anything until the object has been moved/dragged a little further from the edge of the canal. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if adding a metal detector to your kit wouldn't be a bad idea. When you pull up a safe full of muck the metal detector might help you find a hidden item once you dump it out.

you should get a ratchet strap for a couple of dollars and use one end on the tree or something solid and click the magnet end to slowly lift it out or use an engine chain winch around the tree and crank it out of the water.

I wonder if adding a metal detector to your kit wouldn't be a bad idea. When you pull up a safe full of muck the metal detector might help you find a hidden item once you dump it out.

you should get a ratchet strap for a couple of dollars and use one end on the tree or something solid and click the magnet end to slowly lift it out or use an engine chain winch around the tree and crank it out of the water.
