You *will* fall in love with any cat that Linnea loves, trust me on that, Chris. I had a now deceased significant other (SO)😢 who disliked cats intensely. He ended up falling in love w/my two cats. It was so funny one evening when he was chatting w/ his brother on the phone & said, "Yes, Brother, can you believe it?? I'm laying in a bed right this minute with two amazing cats sleeping at my feet! They've won me over." I was glad he had that time w/them (& me) before he transitioned. BTW, Chris, my deepest condolences for your loss. Glad you had the flexibility to be there though. Did anyone throw open a window when he passed? They do that at our local hospice house & train all nurses & home hospice volunteers to open a window so the soul can be free. If in a hospital many windows don't open so there's that. It's magical when it can happen. Have witnessed it & also done it myself. #SendingLove to you both!! 🫶🏼🌀🙌🏼

Not that it matters because I'm a complete stranger, but I'm really impressed by your candor and that you've used these times to shift your perspective and slow down. It turned out that yes, he is indeed very traditional, and took a while because he wanted to buy the ring outright (not that it mattered to me!) so that's what he did. Wedding in 2025 sometime when we have settled into our finances and we can pay for a small shindig outright. Anyway! Thanks again, we love these special insights. Lots of love from NZ ❤

You should do fall in the north east it's gorgeous. Lots of farms in the area will let you stay the night if you buy something at their farm stand. The drive from PA to Maine slowly is the best.
Definitely just more than Maine in the fall! You could do Vermont and New Hampshire as well. White Mountain National Forest, Kancamagus Highway, Green Mountain National Forest. It is so beautiful out there!

So my son hates cats and he's allergic. During COVID we had a black cat and a baby at that, st our apartment. He kept coming to us. So I fed him. That cat two years later bonded with my son. He sleeps with him he has pet insurance on him. We tease him all the time about how he hated cats. Lol my son is 35 and a big softie though. Like Chris lol.
I wonder if to just satisfy TH-cam you can chat show a few clips of exploring and not stress yourself so much, I think people enjoy your company as a human with deep thoughts or silly Akela adventures just much as your filming content, and I wonder if you don’t realize that enough. Yeah when work super hard on content backpacking or whatever adventure you are on they are spectacular, but that’s not all people want or expect from you.. Whether it is evident or not people have grown with you, because of you and your inspiring words. So you don’t have to do awesome filming to fulfill us. So can you do some fun less structured each Sunday and once a month drop a beautiful and amazing video. Take a load off.
