I was thinking the same thing after watching this! I was wondering if the location of their homes matter? Like, my villagers all have estates that are far away from each other, so they might bump into each other more? But also maybe Amanda just stands there and talks to them more than I do...I tested this and just hung out in the town square for a bit and I did have 2 incidents! Not arguments, but they got the purple cloud thing from talking to each other.

Drama RP is one of the best ways to have fun in Animal Crossing. I did it all the time in New Leaf. It was amazing.
Its mostly chill on my island of Corvid Bay. Beyond the kinds gross relationship Piper & Dobie seem to have going on & the weird level of influence Bob has on all the villagers to the point I'm looking to get rid of him. So glad I found your channel though. Its really entertaining.

I got an interesting story. The 19th Ankha was in my campsite and I convinced her to move in. The 20th there was a plot available for Ankha. The 21st she was moving in, getting everything ready . The 22nd she officially moves in a guess what, ITS HER BIRTHDAY. The QUEEN was like “ hmm ight I’m gonna move in on my birthday so everyone knows how much of a queen I am”. 😹😹

Alfonso did that when I had him on my island and it's like he manifested the possessed spirit of Sherb! o__O I wanted to tell Celeste to exorcise him, but then he asked to move and I decided to selfishly unleash him upon someone else's island. Actually, I'm wondering if Alfonso is the reason Sherb became all demonic in the first place. Like, he was the first to be possessed, then whatever evil spirit he had within him must have jumped out and into Sherb.
What if Sherb actually poisoned Marina because he thought Amanda was gone and wouldn't protect her?!

My island is only three weeks old so we’re just forming our community, but we already have a situation where Walt is being the dad of everyone and has already given Sprinkle some tough talks about her personal finance, and Sprinkle did feel bad for a while because she spends all her money and LOVES shopping, but she decided to stop it and start saving bells instead. Phoebe seems to be apologizing to people every other day with gifts that she asks me to deliver, but no one else is talking about her so my theory is that she’s just making things bigger in her head and is actually a little insecure. No romances as of now that I know of. Raymond is on my island and the situation is a bit strange, because I do like him, but a) I’m way too uncool for him, and b) to be honest, he’s a bit short.

rewatching this and i just need to comment about the drama that's been going on with my normal type villagers lately. mitzi and lolly, they're in love, they're dating, they're getting married in june, and i love them but lately they have been so passive aggressive and it's very funny.
so a few days ago sherb asked mitzi for a book recommendation and mitzi was like "wow you read? that's surprising" and said the books she likes were for "discerning adults" it was so funny but like WOW mitzi

I can’t exaggerate enough, but I have 3 lazy villagers- Sherb, Stu, and Zucker. Zucker and Stu are best friends, but Sherb is left alone. Fang and Whitney are love birds, and when I’m talking to them, Sherb always looks at me a sort of way. But I realized Sherb needs a weird friend, and that cat is me!

I had quite the s+ scandal. (TL;DR at bottom)
So. For context, on my first night on my island (Menagerie) I got bells from a hardwood tree. I decided to name it the lucky tree, and soon after started a group around it called the Happy Tree Club. My starting villagers were Paula and Rudy.
The first campsite villager was Henry. I hated his guts right off the bat, but tried to be nice. Of course you have to invite your first camper, so I moved him in. He became the resident awful person, but not much happened other than one incident where he kept making Paula uncomfortable by calling her mom. The next day, I found a journal. I didn’t yet know that you could inspect lost items, so I asked the nearest villager (Paula) for help. She said it looked like it was Henry’s. I never returned it to him, but I walked by his house right afterwards and passed Rudy. After that day Paula wouldn’t stop working out. It was all she ever seemed to be doing. I suspected that it was because of Rudy the adrenaline junky. Soon wasp nests started appearing by the houses of myself and the other player on Menagerie, as well as in the lucky tree. I was convinced by that point that Rudy was the leader of a workout cult. I consulted the tree at our next meeting, however, and I was mistaken. I asked the tree to drop an item if Rudy had started a cult. No. Then something came to me. I asked again, this time for an item if Henry was pinning it on Rudy. A branch fell.
After two more long months, I managed to hire Dora the assassin to kill him.
TL;DR Henry inducted Paula into a cult using a magic book and pinned it on Rudy

since everyone’s talking about your villager scandals, let me tell you guys about freya. freya is the regina george of my island, she’s ALWAYS causing drama. she roasts my sweet child patty all the time, and had a meltdown because merengue thought bargain hunting wasn’t that special. the only villagers she’s nice to are raymond and me, she’s a sweetheart when talking to me, and her and raymond are a power duo, shopping at able sisters together and singing songs in the plaza. freya is a drama queen but i love her, she’s amazing

The first red flags were like you said him disappearing.. hm weird, where ya going sherb? Then the kk techno started then he started saying very odd things about hiding and needed duck tape? When he asked to leave I was more then happy to let his little Damian ass leave... good day sir! Molly replaced sherb and she is an absolute angel on earth. My kids made me invite jitters to my island because he looks like our parakeet (no they don’t play animal crossing they just dictate what goes on in my world like the controlling little leeches they are (Jkjk I love them) Jitters is all sorts of coked up.. he lives up to his name. He just walks around saying Bzzert looking for his next fix all day. He thinks I don’t notice but I do.. One more thing, if they don’t change their able sisters shopping system I may just lose my shit... I need that top in evvvery color! Why must they make us come in and out of the dressing room?! For the record, Sherb lives on my island as well, and he's a sweet darling boy! He did mention the whole "life is a simulation" thing, but he hasn't done much else to concern me. Thing is, Zucker lives right next to him. He's probably keeping Sherb in line honestly.
Also a personal "scandal" of mine, Rodney was my first camper and he forced me to invite him which felt disgusting and illegal. I kept his house in a secluded corner of town and never spoke to him cause he was a disaster waiting to happen. But lo and behold, once the campsite opened back up, my Kid Cat amiibo card arrived in the mail. Kid Cat is my favorite villager, in New Leaf he was my kitty boyfriend, and he literally SAVED me by kicking Rodney out and moving in. He is my hero in every sense of the word. Now he lives right next to me and I couldn't be happier. ^ ^

I wish I had this much drama going on... the only Drama I had was Dobie being Olivia's sugar daddy and also stalking Moe and Rosie who are both young children, Kyle going on a date with Gayle even tho we were already in a relationship back then and Kabuki lowkey crushing on me
Cyd is on my island and I’m pretty sure he’s a demon. Last Halloween, him and Jack were hanging out. Cyd was not scared of Jack.
Recently, Cyd was at Ione’s birthday party. I didn’t expect them to be friends. I think Cyd is using his powers to get other villagers to like him. All this is why I keep Cyd around.
On my island Cherry and Rosie went from enemies to lovers. Raymond and Rosie had been a thing for a while, and they just recently broken up when Cherry moved in. She was a hot mess, and Cherry was not one to help and console. They were fighting and bitching about each other about every petty-ass thing, but I knew deep down they were in denial about their feelings. But their fight about how to promote the island was the straw that broke the camel's back. Not long after, Rosie came crying to me asking for me to put in a good word for me, and got Cherry an expensive leather jacket, which suits her so damn well. They've been together ever since.

So much for "warm-milk" content. These are my soaps.
Time to share my island's biggest scandal, like multiple page essay amounts of drama:
Starting off I had a few villagers who, while I love, I had planned to move out to make room for other villagers I wanted and while time travelling Sally wanted to move out and since I also had Marina I let her and I wanted someone great to fill in Sally's spot because she was incredibly nice she even threw my birthday party. But I didn't quite realize how auto-move in worked at the time so I went back to the present and someone had moved in. This person was Rory, and little did I know also Joe from You. Now I had also been trying to get rid of Quillson at that time but he was a minor offender compared to what Rory would do. So I keep time travelling to get rid of them and I notice Marina keeps trying to move out, and I find out why when on the title screen I catch Rory and Quillson outside Marina's house bullying her trying to get her to leave. Now I'm pissed and as soon as I get in the game Quillson knew he was caught so he immediately tried to move out and I kicked him out without hesitation. Now all that was left was Rory. But then, as I pass by one of the rivers, I see no other than Rory and Marina sitting next to each other! I was about to freak out because I thought Marina had developed some Stockholm syndrome and was trying to get with Rory, but then I see it. Marina had fleas! Marina really chose pettiness and got fleas just to get close to Rory and make him suffer. But Rory did not see it this way oh no, he was enamoured and he was ready to do anything to have her. Now I don't know how long but for at least maybe 30 minutes I was in the area watching to make sure Rory didn't try anything but he wouldn't leave. He sat there waiting for there to be no witness to probably kill or kidnap Marina or something, thankfully Hornsby was there since his house was right above where they were and Robin (the absolute queen she is) was not having it she had her sun hat, sunglasses, and Labelle brand purse ready to stick it to Rory she saw what Rory was doing and she did not let him out of her sight. Now before this Sally and Robin lived right next to each other, and even had matching flower beds, and know Rory lived next to Robin and she was not having any of it. I eventually quit out but I know Robin did not give Rory the chance to even come close to Marina. But wait, there's more. So me and Apollo have been going out for some time and even got recently married , and his catchphrase was "boyfriend," so while I was time traveling he does something he never has before and he has never after he asks to change it. Now I'm losing it because while I'm not 100% sure it seemed like I was getting broken up with, but then Apollo says, and I quote "Y'know, Rory said that "boyfriend" is my go-to saying. Maybe I should change it up..." I. Was. Pissed. It is bad enough that he came for the wellbeing of my fellow villagers, but to then go after my relationship. He had to be dealt with. I continue time travelling until I see Rory is thinking, I talk to him (for the first time might I add) and he is gone. So I let him pack, and he was about to leave. If anyone asks I didn't kidnap him and take him to a secret underground cave where I burned him alive with everyone else. I didn't do that but let's just say he will not be showing up on this island again. I also personally tore down his house with my axe. P.S. Bob moved in the place of Quillson and he is a treat. Ribbot moved in the place of Rory, and while I couldn't have him live next to Robin because of her issues with jocks, he has been absolutely wonderful and is the only jock villager I've had that actually consistently works out. This is long as hell but I needed to share this story of the worst thing I think has ever happened to my island.
