My actual Mum got stung by that exact "hack" - verbatim - which was hilarious for two reasons; first off she believed it to be true and was totally non-plussed about the whole thing, and secondly - my sister sufferes from accute paranoia - so every single inbuilt cam is covered with 5 or 6 layers of masking tape. My mother is coming up to her 60th year of life and I have never been prouder of her.

Just saw master and commander as well, thanks to will retweeting Russell Crowe's thematic breakdown. It was wild cuz I actually remember seeing it on tv from like when I was in 3rd grade, when my dad just watched all the horacio hornblower movies. Master and Commander, despite being vile revisionist imperialist propaganda of the wettest source of syphilis mature ever produced, is a 10/10 excellent picture that is perfect to watch during this resurgence of sea shanties.
