@@ianswift3521 I saw them mid 2000's at the trocadero in Philadelphia. Vocals were definitely nice back then but i was just saying he sounded better this year cus he had some kind of illness the year before
I saw Belphegor in Greece back in 2011 or 12 i think, Helmuth is one of the best live guitarist I ever saw he didn't miss a note both in leads and the complex riffs while singing

Georgia, so meeting someone who even knows them is a rare occurrence
i think they will stay second tier forever. not good and easy enough to be behemoth but too gay to be true kult.
Well I'm proud to say I just discovered them today and this dark metal band will always get recognition from metal fans who love the underrated ones.

Belphegor mixes brutality with rather gorgeous riffs that sound like if taken straight from 1700's classical compositions.

Belphegor at its finest. Nice intro too, for those who might be wondering where it comes from its from the film Eyes Wide Shut where Tom Cruise sneaks into a Sex Cult in some rich dudes mansion, this incantation was playing during the ritual. Aside from that, I rather enjoyed Bleeding Salvation from the Fleshcult album.

Belphegor just validated my ideas of vocal technique and, the way I play guitar I feel a lot better about myself now.
