What?
This is what, in all humility, I spent 60 years of study, seeking, and practice, in the hope of hearing: a truth, an understanding of human reality, that I can Rest in. Live in. Thrive in. Die in, when the time comes.
And to hear this, elucidated so succinctly here, is the culmination of my life's humble purpose, which was simply to find out: What the heck is going on?!?
Had that question since I was a kid. Now I hear an answer that doesn't insult the question.
In traditional Zen, this kind of answer was referred to as "The lion's roar, in the ear of a chicken..."

Only once did 'I' see from a place that was sane, that nothing 'becomes' nor ever 'became', but a boundless becomING exalted of name, where no love was lost in a timeless refrain, where nothing 'becomes' nor ever 'became'.
'Who' remains to conspire seeing story as story, in this curious peace of purgatory, neither 'here' nor 'there', no departure nor return, with nothing to grasp and no verse to learn.
Free from 'the reaper' who's scythe is the name, a slayer of wonder, at least that's his aim, to 'divide' and to 'conquer' a holy terrain, where nothing 'becomes' nor ever 'became'.
What can this be but timeless Dreaming, dreaming without a 'Dreamer'.
