    Very interesting video, thanks.
I have a question: which kind of connectors are found behind the head unit?
Is there any official documentation or spec sheet available on-line?
I ask because I'd like to try to mount by myself an active under-seat sub-woofer.
While I think I could manage to properly get the 12V through the firewall, it would be very impractical to open all the front panel and then not having the right adapters and connectors to be able to extend the required audio cables (and probably the blue remote-on cable too) to be able to close again the panel as soon as possible...!
I can totally see it would be very reasonable to just ask a car audio installer to do it, but I also have a knack for DIY so maybe...
    Regards

      Hi Mathieu
Its very simple to install an amplified subwoofer in this car. You need to choose an amplied subwoofer with “Music power on” (dont need a remote signal) and “high level inputs”.
You just need to connect the car speakers cables to the amplifier and the power from the battery.
      Regards

@@botabaixo I see, thanks for the suggestion. Would I take the signal from the rear-speaker cables passing on the sides of the car (no need then to remove the head unit then)?
In this case would it be Ok to make a T-join and connect the sub in parallel, or is it better to completely cut the rear speaker out and only connect the sub?
      Thanks for your time 🙏

@@MathieuBosi, for me it’s more easy to remove the radio and pass the cables inside the dashboard. You can do a T connection to the rear speakers. The power cable from the battery you can pass it easy - you have a “pass through” underned the clutch pedal.

Thank you for sharing this! Is it possible to unplug/swap the 'media nav' with a 'normal' car radio or is the car depending on the media nav software? My girlfriend wants an old-school 'cd-player-car-radio' instead of the nav screen... Many thanks and kind regards.

      Hi
The car is not depending on the media nav, however I think that will be difficult to have an “Dashboard” adapter to fit an 1 DIN car radio. 👍

@@botabaixo thanks for the reply 👍 I've removed the dashboard parts today to take a closer look at the connectors, it is indeed a large hole in the dash, currently trying to find an adapter to connect the ISO to the DACIA connectors... cheers & thanks

Hola!

Hi, thank you. It is possible to build a 2DIN Multimedia Receiver from free market (Kenwood, etc.) in the original Jogger holding and if not are there adapters for this?

      Hi Marcos

How do people work with gloves on with all those fine screws must have been a builder before doing this. 🤔

    • @botabaixo
      @botabaixo  ปีที่แล้ว

I work as electronic technician for 15 years and I always use this kind of gloves especially when I'm removing plastic dashboard pieces. They aren't "builder gloves".😆

    • @BS-ql5nl

I was always taught not to use gloves on less high voltage or sharp work was involved that's why I'm always amazed by these methods of work.

I also work with gloves due one industry I have worked on. There was very rigid security reles. You should use the gloves, or, the security technician tell you: You can go home and, please, don't return lol.
