Very good sound, a pure eurodance classic, although it's not the girl in the clip who sings but the Italian singer Alexia who did some feats with ice mc and double you
First, I like the new design :) I love this song, and yes it is still considered as a huge eurodance classic, played at every retro party. Part of there reason ICE MC is still performing mainly in Europe in huge retro parties: Germany, Finland, Poland, Austria, Hungary, to name a few. Yes, Culture Beat is a german eurodance group. They were even more popular. From ICE MC, I highly recommend his earlier hit, Take Away the Colour. ICE MC himself is from UK, but got around italian producers,, as here. By that time, it was widespread, especially with italian eurodance productions (and sometimes germans, but not all), that the voice and the face was not he same at all. Italian producers with italodance productions (and even with male singers) started this trend in the 1980s. Eurodance example is Fun Factory. Or Cappella, who for years and the first 4 hit singles, the female part was SAMPLED from older songs. Also it was common in Italian production to have the "faces", or the vocalists from not Italy: UK, USA, Netherlands, to make them more exotic and more internationally appealing. Of course, 30, 40 years ago we did not know this.
Dereck, you must absolutely react to the last Mylène Farmer's Song which is OUI MAIS NON NEVERMORE 2023!!!!! In fact, this is the "trailer" of her tour that she finished this year.
Since early 90s Brazil was a closed Country with its own culture, fashion, products, cars, TV shows. Suddenly in 1992 we received a flood of European and Japanese cars, German and American snacks, desserts, jams, Cable TV with program from various Countries and Dance Music reigned strong. It was an unforgettable rupture and still today I feel that vibe. The 90's was a happy decade as a whole this side of the world and this song triggers me many happy memories.
Great memories from when I was 17 when I was in 10th Grade in high school. 😊🥰😍🤩 I heard this song very often on the radio, especially on Friday evenings or Saturdays in the dance track rankings on radio stations such as Skyrock or NRJ (very well-known radio stations for teenagers in France which still exist) just like the clips on the channels TV like M6 in particular where it was the period for example shows like Dance Machine which invited all the dance artists of the time to come sing and party at the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy. These were live events quite late (around 11 p.m.) and which were live and also broadcast on a radio station like Fun radio. Ice MC, like the others, came quite often to sing their hits. In the meantime, dance compilations were being released. A very good time that we will unfortunately never do again.😪
lol it says nothing about the US, yeah Eurodance in the US wasn't really pushed by radiostations and some of it even got banned in the US. Thats why for American reactors eurodanc eis a big rabbithole to explore but most reaction channels from the US still haven't figered that out
Dereck just a heads up bro: Fix the mistake in the title of this video so that the TH-cam algorithm won't give you less views or not recommend this song to people that like this song. You named this video Think About >>>They
Dereck I'm the one that recommended to you the song called Come To Me by France Joli which you even did a banana dance to it. Here are a few more dusted off masterpiece gems from back in the day you will truly love to react to. Remember I never steer you or the other Reactors the wrong way. I never like suggesting shitty songs. Keep your Banana dancing papa. Here is the list. 1. All Night Passion (Alicia) the remix long version 2. I Don't Want Your Love (Duran Duran) the remix long version 3. Try It Out (Gino Soccio) the video version with them in the studio 4. Sending All My Love (Linear) hot club jam from this one hit wonder boy group 5. I'll House You (Jungle Boys) this joint made people crazy in the clubs in the late 80s 6. Move Ya Body (Nina Sky) two Puerto Rican girls doing their shit 7. Alright (Jamiroquai) this is my favorite song from this list by this British group. It's a club vibe with lots of people dancing in the video. 8. Beatbox (The Art of Noise) this is the best instrumental club song of all time. Even Michael Jackson loved this song. Just a raw bop. 9. Best Thing Ever (Scritti Politti) Madonna loved this song so much she included it in her movie Who's That Girl soundtrack album. 10. Maria (Vico C) This is the first and best Puerto Rican and best overall Latin Rap song ever, way before Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny. Dereck If you want to go on an incredible mental trip record reactions for these 10 songs in one day and then slowly release them on TH-cam over time. Peace.
My god... I was 16, and I must have played this song 1000 times.

Good song for dancing but I prefer " It's a rainy day " 👍
nope, that is highly overrated.
@@petertakacs3180 I was talking about "basics"
Not the woman on the video ,had a bigger career than the rapper, pretty meh compared to the other eurodance songs of the time.
