I understand how hard it is raising a special needs child without any help, you literally become isolated from the world it seems. Resources get worse when they become grown. My daughter needs total care, and its hard just getting physical therapy for her because medicaid totally sucks. Getting nursing is a joke. Its not easy, parents need support and therapy as well.

I am right with you. My daughter is blind and autistic. She was assaulted at 2 different group homes in Florida. I brought her home. I am 62 not in perfect help. I hate to say this but families like our are pushed aside and forgotten. I get why the man in Florida killed himself and his son,…there I no future for either one. Our system is so screwed up.

I’m a single mom of 4 children. Two have autism.. it’s not easy.. very overwhelming and tiring sometimes. I know there are people out there who can take care of my beautiful children much better than I ever could but over my dead body would i abandon my babies. I’m not here to judge anyone I can only imagine how hard it was to do this but that could never be me 😢poor women I hope they are both doing better ❤

"Leaky gut syndrome" is not a real diagnosis. It's bullshit made up by alternative medicine practitioners and highly contested by real GI doctors. That being said, this is absolutely heartbreaking. The stuff at the end about how Kayleigh has been abused (and later developed PTSD as a result) should never happen to anyone. I know someone who is a parent to an adult child with CHARGE syndrome (a very severe physical, medical, and often neurological genetic disorder) and though luckily she never ended up in that situation her daughter, while not intellectually disabled, has severe sensory, physical, mental health, and learning challenges she faces every day as a result of her condition.

I dont blame parents for leaving handicapped children behind. I know that sounds horrible but it must be very very very difficult raising handicapped children.

@@wv-dixie6374PS: Have you considered selling your two busted vehicles for salvage payout? My 2012 Ford Focus’ PCM shit the bed and many other expensive repair items (the transmission malfunction mainly) cropped up as well, I found a car salvage company who offered to pay me $460 for the car. They came and picked it up for me and gave me the cash on the spot, I used that money to go find a cheap old Honda civic and only paid $150 out of pocket to buy it after using the salvage cash from my old car. Look into it! Try CarBrain. That’s who I used.

I Have a child with my half-sister and we have a child much like the ones seen in the video here.
We considered bringing him to india for a ceremonial euthanasia , as he never stops screaming
and spitting all over himself. Our other children are fine, and we have a loving, monogamous relationship,
these things just happen sometimes. The child in question is the eldest, and will be tough to explain to the
younger siblings, but this child's existence is just too much for my wife to handle anymore. He is 17 and
is twice my size, we can never have him calm and have spent too much money on special care.

Wait. Why are you having children with your half-sister though? Even if you were to fall in love with a sibling and it was “right” for you both (soulmate wise) genetic testing would have been wise. They can at least tell you the figures of likelihood for passing down significant genetic mutations. By now, all of the earth’s population is related to each other in some degree so “inbreeding” is more common than most people know but I think genetic mapping before having children could negate some of these mutations.

You shouldn't be in a relationship far less having children with your half-sister. However, I can't imagine how impossible your life must be with a child like yours. If you can't get to India, you can always put him in a home for the disabled.

Doesn’t look like this parent abandoned Kayleigh. In some cases, the only way a family can access/afford treatment and care for their child with significant mental health and/or behavioral issues is to make them wards of the state (residential care beds/inpatient treatment are limited and expensive).

@@matthewcrome great question Matt, he didn’t give her these things these things exist all illnesses exist because of orginal sin and the fall of man in the garden of Eden. Jesus Christ was our second Adam and he came to redeem mankind to put us back in right relationship with God. Man was made out of Love God didn’t have to create man He made us and he loves us he made us. He made us with Love therefore it took a Great Love to Save us. The shedding of Jesus Christ Blood paid the penalty for our sins if we place our Faith in Gods only Answer for Man ,Jesus Christ he will Save your Soul you will live with him forever in heaven once one passes away on this earth and with God All Things are Possible All Healing come from God All miracles come from God. There is nothing impossible for him. Jesus Christ is the Source for all of mankind Victory he was he is our Savior he is our redeemer he is truely our Everything. Give your heart and life to him today because he is coming back soon he is Alive and he is coming back for his church very soon. He loves you Matt.
