Was going to comment on that lol. I also called it AIYAMA from time to time, due to AIYAMA sounds more catchy and like actual Japanese names. I know AIYIMA is A Chinese brand that somehow naming their product closely to Japanese name BUT intentionally or not, funnily there is no "yi" sound in Japanese language.😂
Concise and Complete Comparison...I like it. Cheapaudioman is always entertaining but he missed some of the differences: Aptx, the Fixed Line Out, and did not explain the importance of a BT/RCA switch. I do not like having my Bluetooth receiver broadcasting all the time to be hi-jaacked at will by anyone nearby.
I was one of the first people to have the A07 Pro. Received Nov 20, 2022. I was not very pleased with the 90db SNR when compare to the OG A07. But nonetheless, I dove in. Here are the upgrades I have done. Vented chassis. Top and sides, to allow convective cooling. Aluminum heatsink wafer between the chip and the heatsink was replaced with pure copper wafer. Thermal paste replaced with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. Heat reflective tape adhered to outer blades of the heatsink to keep heat away from the capacitors. KY 3300uf 50V capacitor replaced with Nichicon 3300uf 63V capacitor. Special copper & alumimum heatsinks adhered with thermal epoxy to the voltage regulators. Then, lastly all 5 op-amps, which everyone seems to forget mentioning... All 5 sockets are fitted with SparkosLabs SS3602 Dual op-amps. These help the Aiyima to have a much better SNR and THD than stock. Everything you love about the A07 Pro in stock form is enhanced. Everything this review says that the FOSI does better is done to a much higher degree in the A07 Pro when swapping out the op-amps to the Sparkos. I run both Aiyima amps from one 48V 10A power supply dialed in at 35V due to the specs of the A3001. I currently pair my A07 Pro with the Aiyima A3001 subwoofer amp using the Line out. In front of this I have a Schiit Loki mini+, where I prefer to handle tone controls, I also use the Schiit Magni+ Heretic as a Pre-amp. Using the Heretic knob to control the total sound. Both the Aiyima A3001 and A07 pro have their knobs in fixed positions. The Aiyima Amp sounds great. On the 5 op-amps, one is input, another for tone, 2 for differential stuff and lastly one for the line out. I may drop a Burson V6 Vivid or 2 into this amp to see what they can do bend the sound a bit. I am really looking forward to the new FOSI V3 though as THAT will be the true successor to the OG A07.
Thanks for the review as I'm debating between both models. My idea is actually to link 2, maybe 3, to power different zones. I guess the Aiyima is a better choice then as the output isn't pre-amp and will give me full volume control in different zones, especially if I connect an active sub on the second/third amp? Also the BT/RCA switch will help to have only one BT on... what do you think?
I bought few of them an in every amp i was hearing loud hiss even when the volume pot was all the way down. Never had thit issue with original a07, a07 max, a08 pro, fosi v3, bt20a pro and many other amps
Curious how it compares to the standard A07. Randy over at Cheap Audio Man loves that thing. Right now I have a Loxjie A30 running a pair of Emotiva B1+ as a sound bar replacement setup. Is there a noticeable improvement in changing the amp to something like the Aiyima or Fosi and getting a standalone DAC? Not even sure what DAC would be appropriate tbh.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Yeah, it's actually fine for TV duty but they've been in the way and it was a temporary solution until my new desk arrived. I've been planning on using them near field along with a headphone setup. I need to buy something front ported or sealed for the TV so I can put them closer to the wall.
интересная у вас связка Loxjie A30 с парой Emotiva B1+, могли бы вы записать видео как это звучит и какую громкость реально получить с данными коспонентами?
I am new to this and still trying to understand. I am mainly concerned with sub connection- with the aiyima, you have to adjust the gain on the sub every time you turn up the volume? whereas the fosi does this automatically? also, is all I need to connect these amps to a sub a 3.5mm to mono rca? sorry, these questions may be trivial, I am just trying to understand which best suits my needs. thanks!
Correct, the fosi sub out is variable and changes with the line out level whereas the Aiyima has a fixed-level sub out. And yes, you just need 3.5mm to mono RCA.
aiyima, doux audio, fosi audio etc so many similar products but with different brands, i wonder if they were make by one company like an oem products 😂.
A07 pro has a QCC304x Chip. This does not support aptx ll. You can find a list with all Qualcomm Chips and their functions. The A08Pro has a QCC5125 which supports aptx ll.
You’re right and I appreciate you for noticing! I edited this video with Davinci Resolve but normally use Premiere Pro. I love Davinci but I’m struggling with the audio at the moment. However, I plan to master it soon!
@@PrimeAudioReviews True, but I do vary levels depending on what I'm listening to. It would be nice if the line out was selectable: fixed/variable, but that would add to the price. I would imagine most want to use this output with a sub woofer, so it should be wired variable
For some reason, I was calling these the AIYAMA instead of AIYIMA...(just a brain fart). Apologies!

I'm using this amp with a pair of EV 4.2 and a local sub. I like it
Im planning to do the same!
Any advice?

Sounds like a good solution. Theres also the upcoming Leaudio Cattle Pro which I'll be reviewing soon but it doesn't have Bluetooth.

I don't see any reason why you would need the Aiyima or Fosi over the A30. It sounds like you're just using your rig for TV/Movies?

Can you adjust the volume on your phone while using Bluetooth or is it fixed (based on volume control knob)?
Yes, you can adjust the volume on your phone but for the best audio quality, it should be done on the amp.
______I have a very hot radiator on this amplifier. How about yours?______
Mine doesn't really get hot.
Hello, I bought A07 pro but Aptx LL (low delay) doesn't work on Bluetooth. Is it normal? APTX, APTX HD, SBC are working
I don't have any devices with aptxLL so can't test it

I bought a T9, can I connect this T9 at this machine to gain more power? If possible, please tell me how?
No. I tried that with t9 and a08 and it does nothing for the power (volume-wise).
@@jazzabana Thank you
compared to your other videos the volume levels on this one are super low

I appreciate the review but background music is just a distraction from your much more important information.

If the Line Out is fixed, it's useless to feed a subwoofer
My powered sub has low pass filters.
@@IntelligentElephant A fixed line out means the volume control doesn't vary the line out level. A preamp out is variable and suitable to feed a sub
A preamp is more convenient for sure but if you always keep your levels the same or don't change them often then this is fine.

The fart sounds ruin the professionalism of the video. Otherwise it would have been an excellent video.

I agree. How dare he use humor in his own video that he made.
