It looks like you don't have the VDI valve connected. This opens at high RPM to effectively "shorten" the intake runner length as far as the dynamic effect is concerned.
It’s just like ‘Rotary Hoe’ a modified pulling tractor that has been competing here in Australia for over 20 years. 2 13B coupled together in a similar fashion.
The OEM Intake on a stock RX8 engine is the best solution. Any other custom intakes will either be barely improved or just loss of power. The main issue is the MAF sensor not sensing proper laminar air flow. So if you run a custom intake on a stock RX8 engine, you need to think about MAF placement.
can someone tell me if they had to clock the engines to each other a certain way to make this work? did they just use a standard 4 rotor configuration?
Keen to see the next iteration of the trollvo, hopefully you guys keep experimenting and use a 4 rotor e shaft and still keep the rx8 housings, then go too rx7, then p port and so forth 🤷🏽♂️ i do understand it will be expensive but its about the research / development, keep up the good work boys 🤙🏾👌🏾

Or just like someone going into a burnout comp with siko plates when it's the og car/person that made the car can it be put on.
Adam LZ just had this issue its exactly to do with your runner length on your intake. length of pipes determine your powerband

We go through it in the build vlogs! But to answer your question we timed front and back motor the same orientation a 4 rotor shaft is.

Those 2 rx8 engines are the low spec 4 port( lower power ) engines & has a redline of 7500rpm.
My friends stock RX8 revd to 9k rpm
