when you use a card in main phase, you have a smaller pool of cards since it doesn't take into account cards you gain in the battle phase. Guardian abilities have the advantage of being used later which means you found more cards by then, which increases the chances of being able to use a card skill. Honoly needs to be called in the main phase to work, veratrum waits until the opponent's next turn, by then you have dug through several more cards in the deck since the main phase.
interesting choices of what to run. i personally ddint run the G-era ordain owl and astraia cuz i ran V Ordain owl for the draws and soul and Expel angel for the recycle, and opt for x2 vanargandr stride to tech the top4 twice. how was the performance of astraia pick for your tournament run?
If i ride it. Marduk is easier, I might find a better card to call or ride, and I can return those useless triggers in hand and maintain the ratio. It's similar to when people used to run the witch critical effect in g set 14 to increase deck size and still drive check critical after milling through the deck lightsworn style.
It's also not as useless as owl v late game because you don't call owl as much later since its end of battle draw, becomes a vanilla booster that turn. At least astraia can return triggers and main phase draw.

No, calling over actually counters all Regalia grade 3s since its the opponent's own action. Also lock works against Freyg as well since that one specifies leaving the field. Indiscrimatory lock that doesn't target works against Angelica since she is worded as targeting, such as Trans-else Messiah.
@@redninjazero1992 IMO it's probably because they didn't want to rewrite the exist keyword into a format (V) that didn't really have any keywords like G did with "Resist".
@@redninjazero1992 The design of the game has been weird after G where they seem to not want to acknowledge keywords from G era yet seemed ok making Melody and more over time. They even had rescue cards that didn't use rescue keyword, and one OTT card which required 5 or more in hand without using 'oracle' keyword.

space, but i have built thousands of lists, i sometimes run it. It is top 5 grade 2s to play. I was playing with it today in fact.
