This video came right in time. I was just talking to a girlfriend about cleaning behind the fridge. I had to sadly confess that I never pulled my fridge out for the entire 13 years that I have been living in my home (ouch)! Question, did you have to unplug the water line that goes to the ice maker? Also, I know when we purchased our home the builders used flat paint on all of the walls, which made washing them impossible. Was that flat paint behind the fridge or an eggshell finish? If it was flat did it mess up the paint? Also, did you wash the fridge itself. Sorry for the long comment....just trying to get my "mess" together in 2016 too!!
+Veri Keri Girl we are in this together. Don't feel bad this was my first time too...lol! It is a flat finish and it did not mess up the paint (thankfully). The method products are pretty gentle so it worked out fine. I did not have to unplug anything. It was pretty simple. They make the cords long enough so that you are able to pull it out easily. I wouldn't judge someone on something they didn't know, because know one has the key to everything there is to know in life. You know that old saying it takes a village to raise a child. If you want to save money by not calling a technician out, In order for your refrigerator to work properly! Keep your corals clean underneath the refrigerator. You needs to purchase a refrigerator brush cleaner or you can use a blower it will blow all the dust in debris out as well. I clean behind my refrigerator, deep freezer, stove, washer and dryer every six month. And I mark it on a calendar as a reminder. Thank you for sharing your story and keep up the good work.
