- Openworld techs:
1. 4tick flight: fly further
2. High ground: mobs actually cant hit u up there
3. Living slope (also a combat tech): mount those mfs
Combat techs:
1. ALWAYS keep the damn distance, he's a ranged unit: don't go near mobs to get hit and blame the character.
2. Blend in Charge Attacks between NAs, it stuns, deals high DMG, faster following NA combo (for some reason the game makes your characters NA chain faster after a dodge or CA) and trigger DPC artifact 4-p passive.
3. Blend in Dodges between NAs for faster NA chain, aerial mode only use it once u have the Free Dash passive, otherwise just spam it on ground for your NA tobe as fast as possible.
4. As always you need to get gud (or use a shield whichever), learn mob attacks so that you know when to use the Free dash when not.
5 (hidden for the chad men and women who reads). Remember the 4tick flight trick? for almost a second the hold-dash wont consume stamina after dashing, u can use them to your advantage and dash a further distance to navigate through the field or create big distance. This trick is most beneficial in combat when you have the Free Dash passive, you will get a small distance flight without consuming any aerial stamina.
6. Passive Dash immediately after Scara 3rd NA will add 2 free additional passive rate increase, which is the reason why I have so many dash passive in the fight shown in the video.

Edit: The reason why I said my stat 74/200 was mid (not the build, sry for wasn't specific) is bcuz Im a Scaramain and most Scaramains have atleast 80/220-90/240 after over a year of grinding. Hence its more bcuz where I came from (Scaramain category) that I said that.
Edit: Flight trick I forgot about entirely: dont press any movement button (W) when ur flying into openworld steep slopes, just dash. And only press them once to change direction if needed.

@@emranao well even so, can world bosses the level of Local Legends. Plus they always use Raiden in her idle and vulnerable post-2ndphase while this guy literally nohit her without letting her go in 2nd phase with a C3R1 Scara (he did it with C1 btw in his previous video) and still all the while prove his point and show his playstyle guides
I believe no-hit was the easy part, this was a solo 1 phase which requires very high uptime on your damage (or a broken dps)

Also, if you just started out, I suggest u do all the story quest and world quest, they gives out the most rolls. Also, if you can, keep rolling for C1 or his weapon, they give him ATK speed and makes him much more fun to play.
Trust me, once you have him, it feels like infinite stamina (with the right management ofc), exploration faster and openworld becomes much more fun 👍

Scara is the only character in the game that can do all 4 of these at C1R1, watch his "Raiden 2nd phase where" video, he has proof. You otherwise don't make any statements without atleast a video of Arlec being able to do all those at C1R1 max

Wanderer while dealing dmg can fly throughout the field (its yall problem not his if u dont utilise his funside), move/dashjump rapidly (if u utilize this video 2 hidden tricks in the description), switch between actions for style (bro, just stop brainrot NA or CA spam, its yall fault for making him looks stupidly boring)

wanderer is the best open world character period
I have mained him since I got him during his banner last year. Love him to death. Was my first to reach lvl 90 and friendship lvl 10. Totally fell in love with him because of his English VA's (Patrick Pedraza) performance, his lore, and game play. He is SO FUN to play! Anywho, great video. There are a few things you mentioned that I'm gonna try!
as someone who played this game for over 3+ years and as someone who never let wanderer exit my party, I'm thanking you for treating my main with actual understanding (and doing guide with style too lol). Also same here, I initially made this vid bcuz most vids I saw on the internet they played him wrong (no Dash/CA/NA management, no flight trick nor dodge tricks).
But ngl, I didn't expect at all it would blow up lol, I thought I would only get 400 views or sth 😅
this is kind of how i've been playing him for the longest time lol, except for the "4tick flight" thing, which is good to know.
also, some other miscellaneous tricks about him (that i know of and want to add on top of these ones) are:
you can scale a side of an inclined slope or mountain by just "ramming" into it to slowly ascend up, which makes it so you can, at the very least, regain more stamina to keep climing, and if not also go up faster and further high up on said slope/mountain, which does deppend on if the slope/mountain is too steep or not (in which case it could very well just be better to spam the ascend button)
this also translates to covering long distances, as you can go further by simply hovering towards your destination, and on top of that you can add in an input to either ascend or dash at the end of the skill's stamina to cover a bit more distance too.
and, another thing is that if you get knocked out of the air, you can simply press to dash/ascend and you will cancel the falling animation and get up earlier to save time and not have to touch the ground to get back to the action.
Well I do know those, but I have seen other channels covered them all already so I didn't put them here

I didn't know medium mobs could work like slopes, now I understand why sometimes my Wanderer would be higher up in a fight... 😅
Also, that tip about the passive dash is a life saver! I could not figure out why it'd work only after I'd attacked some and not immediately after I used his skill
I'll add a tip I saw recently: when the wanderer gets hit while in the air (without a shield) dashing will make him recover immediately :)

I have been a day 1 wanderer main and i got his c1 during first release itself. I did some of the techs shown here but not fully deliberately. I am so glad to have finally found a channel like F2PKeqing who thoroughly understands the ins and outs of a chara and maximizes their potential. I hate him , I didn’t wanted him , I got him instead of faruzan ! Spending years to get her c6 , and 20 pull on this banner and I get him …. Kequing lv 80 , 8/8/8 solo with nahida clear abyss 12/1&3 in less than 40sec , easy ….wanderer lv 90, 8/8/8? ….well I’m just crying right now, so many primos lost for no dps improvement is hard for a f2p , that’s why I hate him , he can fly but the pyro assassin can still hit him…I I I ..I just can’t ..😭😭 can we get a 5*refund …my diluc is way stronger lv 80 to !

Tho, if you have the chance try getting him to C1R1 (C1 or C0R1 atleast), I promise you you will be addicted with the 3NA/CA/dash rapid switch style like shown in the video.
If its hard to understand, just imagine it like a style gauge, u cant maintain the style with only just one action like CA or NA only, switch between different actions = more style, more dmg, more fun 👍

IK almost all of these, and the free aerial height over enemies thing is *so* useful, ISTG (Have you done it with a Ruin Hunter? Just hover in its face without moving and when it goes up to do that annoying attack, IT TAKES WANDERER TO THE SAME HEIGHT AND WE CAN JUST SMACK ITS FACE TO BRING IT BACK DOWN, it's like a life hack) Though I admittedly don't use the terrain, just bigger enemies, but TYSM for this video, I was looking for a good NA, CA and Dodge combo 😄

Another less known tech: You can avoid getting slowed on smaller slopes by dashing without pressing W, though it's harder to change direction this way.
dang it, I forgot to put this one in, this is one of those tips that would change how ppl view about his flying (his flying got looked down whenever it comes to steep slopes after all)

Anyway, can you upload some exploration tips on wanderer?
SOme of thing that i can give for a content idea are:
1. Not holding W/Joystick for a smooth slope dash
2. Tapping jump 4 time for a higher height increase
3. (the first technique in this video)
4. Flying through mountains or places that normal character cant reach (even venti cant)
5. Hovering through high slope to climb without climbing
6. you name it!

Him being the best exploration DPS is 100% true. Not only he is faster than yelan/sayu but you have more control, and you don't get stuck on terrain, and you have vertical control too. And he can do massive damage while in that state unlike the other 2. And anemo is the best element. Every time I'm exploring after 3.3, he is in my team. I love him so much

Well you always learn something. i always fight at medium or close range maybe cause i have decent buffer for him to clear content faster but I guess fighting at a distance make it soo much better.
I also love to spam his normal attack,I use him With Yelan,Layla and Bennet to get all 3 resonance he can get(his ascesion stat),Plus yelan's burst increases active chars normal atk dmg by 50% so Ive reached around 30k to 35k with normal attack after using benny's burst,yelan burst,layla shield for protection and wanderer's E skill and then spamming normal attack,its so fun to play with him
