If you do your research, there are machines out there for every type of job. Whether it's a new or an old machine. I specialise mainly in tight access jobs, so I need small, capable machines.
Have a look at the 008 Kubota and a small dumper to go with it. The jobs do take longer with the small machines, but in the long run it works out better. Less damage and a much better and cleaner job. I prefer the little Yanmar SV-08, you can sit on it all day, very smooth controls.
I don't need one. While the dumper is dumping soil, I can't fill it, so what's the point? If I had two dumpers running, that would work. And I like the exercise working by myself.

Very versatile! I like it I’ve been looking at minis like yours , I’ve been thinking of a u17 kubota but it might be a little too big ??

How wide is the bucket on the excavator? And how much dirt does the cart hold?

How comes you don't have your assistant run the dumper? might get the job done faster.
