I really love the design, I knew it looked familiar, TY for bringing this design back. I’m certain that bass players worldwide are allready craving this wonderful bass, plus it’ll be lighter and easier to play long shows with compared to my P & J. Looking forward to seeing these at guitar center and getting to buy one, also PLEASE MAKE A GUITAR SHAPED LIKE THIS WITH A SINGLE COIL AND A HUMBUCKER ! I play both and would buy a matching set, though it’d be nice if you guys made a limited run of Double Necked bass/guitar combos, would be light enough for musicians to play for long periods
This is a really beautiful design. I love all the colors, but I love the Shell Pink one, with a tortoise shell Pickguard. Beautiful bass. Great work. Thank you for this
Ngl, I found it's interesting to be able to find a new design after donkey's years. But I wish I were able to travel to Japan just to buy one. Especially the color of shell pink made me really hyped.

It's called Katana because thats what we used to chop it up! Sure to be a smash hit after your left hand gets sore from holding it upright!
Katana Bass in a King Krimson Kover Band! No seriously… Amazing instrument here that I am sure plays wonderfully and sounds superb. I’ve owned several incredible Fender of Japan basses over the years and have always been totally impressed and delighted with build quality, playability and tone!

If you want a short scale you want the tanto bass, a wakizashi bass is a 32" scale

Fenderの形をしていないですがポリシーはFenderのベースでハマさんが使う事でFenderなんだと思いました。スクワイヤーだったのでFenderって所が好きです。
散々言われた事だろうけど、何年前だろう、松本人志のラジオで「浜田の息子がベース引いてるらしいで！部屋からボンボン聞こえるって。かなわんなぁ！ｗｗ落研にも入っとんの？落語は聞かせた方がええよ！ええんちゃう。しかしベースってｗｗ」とか言ってたのを思い出さずにはいられない。ちゃんとベースで食べててかつ話もうまい、あの頃こうなるなんて１ミリも思ってなかった。凄ぇぇ。

I think you could get it through Bass Japan Direct. It’s probably cheaper than going to Japan yourself. Unless you really want to go there.
