    Great video, thanks. Just ordered mine and now waiting for it to arrive. Ordered mine with the black paint, not the cf weave. What's your opinion between the all black and weave pattern?
    BTW I believe your screen must be the 4K LCD matte display which looks great (the one I got too), but it's not OLED. The OLED only comes in glossy.

    Hi.. Great video. You mentioned about heat coming out to the lower part of the screen. After few months of using the laptop, do you think it is really an issue or you hardly notice it?

    I think the battery life of 5hrs is a norm as it has a 4k display. Several other laptops with 4k display has similar kind of battery life. But it is not sufficient for sure. Great review👍

    I just received mine, the latest Lenovo updates made the dedicated Intel video be very dim (maybe 275 nits) so I had to go into the BIOS to change my video to the Quadro T2000 and the brightness is back to 500 nits.

    Very smart to measure things using coins. It may seem dumb, but everyone has coins laying around and has a good idea of how wide and thick they are, so it makes sense to use them as a unit of measure.

    I’m disappointed that unlike the Carbon the speakers fire down and the vents are on the bottom. Question: if you place this computer on your bed is sound muffled and do you think this laptop would overheat lying on a mattress? I often work in bed. Thanks in advance of your response.

    Hello, I really enjoyed your review, i actually bought the P1 gen 2 recently but whenever I downloaded programs, such as solid works, Rhino 3d and keyshot the battery went down to 2 hours. I have not used any of the apps yet and I am surprised by how low the battery went to. I have only had it for one week and the battery won´t last more than 2 hours by just doing simple work, like sending emails and watching videos. what should I do?

    • @ironmantooltime
      @ironmantooltime ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stephanie, did you work it out? I'm guessing you had screen brightness turned up and the power mode on performance. Remember to check task manager and see if anything has the processor running hot.
