Baraka’Allahfik brother, it’s a complicated topic, but alhumduli’llah you gave lovely advice. I work in the community and many husbands are on the other end of the spectrum and humiliate, ignore and criticise their wives beyond what is acceptable. It’s the man’s character like this and so it’s very hard for them to even acknowledge or accept that they are doing anything wrong. May Allah guide and protect us and make us better and stronger and patient for His sake ameen.
It's not in their character otherwise they'd be humiliating their parents, siblings, friends, colleagues, acquaintances & clients as well A lot of them are raised & groomed to respect everyone during childhood but almost never 'trained' to manage their lives & relationships after marrying, unlike how they're completely pressurized by all of the community to be the best son & serve their family otherwise
This reminds me of the following hadieth: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The believers who show the most perfect Faith are those who have the best behaviour, and the best of you are those who are the best to their wives".(hasan, sahieh) Its soo easy to be nice to others, but once's true character comes to light when one is with his/her spouse

If the emotional needs are not met on both sides, the eyes will start roaming elsewhere! That's where the marriages start falling apart and the whispers of shaytan is right there to push ya'll further and further apart! Don't let that happen. If you can't fix it, don't make each other miserable, go your separate ways! الله provides for all! Mayالله help ya'll in your marriages! امين 🧕👳♂️
If husband lives with his parents and I stay with my parents when I say to give me seperate house or take me to other place is this wrong as I want peace in my life as he always listens of his mother in every aspect he won't talk to mi about anything I just feel lonely even after marrying since 5 yrs m watching all this happening and now m just depressed
He need to man up and provide your place for you. I’m really surprised how you married 5 years yet he didn’t provide a home for you yet!! Even if it’s only one room it’s better than living with someone. You have so much patience. May Allah SWT increases you and reward you with Janatul Fordowsa.
