    If you think thats easy, try the DNZ or Talley ring/base two piece ones. Two screws on each base, two screws each cap and Bob's your aunties live in lover. Light, strong, cheap and simple

      I’m looking at some Talley rings for one of my other rifles. Big fan of simple rings/bases

    Nice vid mate

    Good vid. Scope mounting made simple. Just a quick warning: you will definitely cop some flack for twisting the ring with the scope. But, hey, whatever works. I recently picked up another 22-250, and now I have a real problem; I have 2 22-250’s that both shoot half inch groups. Be very interested to see how it shoots; the 22-250 can take a while to sort out, but it will be worth it in the end. Anyway Mate, keep it coming. Cheers.

      I’ll only get flak from people who have never used a pivot mount. Literally the exact same thing.

    Great rifle and a good scope as well.
    Mrs and I have 3 tikkas all with leupold scopes.
    Most recent is a T3x lite in 223 for the Mrs.
    they always shoot well.
    She loves it and can stop pinching my T3 varmint now. 👍

    Gday boss.
    I’m in the process of getting my first rifle for hunting deer.
    I’m getting lost in the scope area, I have the same disability of being born and raised in Australia so I use metres and centimetres instead of 4/165ths of dads freckles. Anyway, do you buy scopes in Mrad or moa? Does it make much difference for you? I intend to spend a lot of time at the range before I go out trying to hit things and want to nerd out on the ballistics. Will I get fucked over by getting a MOA scope or what? Cheers mate. Great video

    • @fhckoutdoors
      @fhckoutdoors  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate. I use both MOA and Mils. These days I tend to stick to MOA because a lot of US load data is in FPS and ballistic data in MOA. I just find it easier instead of converting stuff over.

    What height are your rings? I’m fixing to purchase this rifle and am curious how high my rings need to be to clear a 50mm scope such as yours

    • @fhckoutdoors
      @fhckoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These are high rings from Alaska arms. They’ve got a good guide on their web sight on sizing your rings for your scope

      @fhckoutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wait, I’m an idiot. I thought this was a different video. These are leupold medium rings, with std bases.
