i was screwing around and did the math. i based this off of the botanical kingdom map. i averaged SCR-GP at going 150 kilometers per hour (since Sonic is a japanese franchise). our friend at the controller (banger times btw, even with the blunders) did 3 minutes and 42 seconds. converting 150 kmph to feet per second we get around 136 feet per second. multiply that by 242 (time in seconds to complete) and we have 32,912, this is the amount of feet SCR-GP covered in the race, divide that by 5,280 (the amount of feet in a mile) and we get something in the ballpark of 6.2 or 6.3, i went with 6.3 since he did have points of rapid acceleration and that should adjust for it. dividing 6.3 by 3 and we get 2.1. Botanical kingdom's track is around 2.1 miles. since its one of the bigger tracks, we can assume the rest are around that mark. like if you want me to do more 6th grade number wizardry
@@Baconmutt but do both have a power unit that let's them use gravity moves? Cause in my memories of playing the game, I could use a gravity powers with only one of them.
SCR-GP’s gravity control is kinda… bad because it doesn’t give the proper launch (unlike other characters) after cornering. So the only best bet is to drift. For SCR-HD, the gravity control is a lot better than GP.
me imagino que primero salta y mantiene con X (en mando claro) y la palanca izquierda hasia en direccion ↘ en las esquinas ya que el ◻ hace el pulso y el R1 ya el salto de aire asi que eso se debe
in my opinion through both games, power is still the worst and least desired attribute. also, i think you should make a video that shows all of the "on foot" shortcuts since no one has actually made that yet.

SCR-GP: Target Sighted!
SCR-GP: Program Change, Charge!
SCR-GP: Mission Complete!
me spending every braincell trying to find the difference between SCR-GP and SCR-HD
In addition to their different stats, SCR-GP is a Power type that has the abilities of a Wheel, while SCR-HD is a Fly type that doesn't.

That Sonic was really good at Gigan Rock. I'm surprised not many races you see such thing in
How did you do that wheel drift movement? I’m assuming you just press and hold the jump button? Because that’s what it seemed like to me

While its gravity control is less than ideal, the wheel-like movement almost makes up for it.
Since it doesn't have the Ark of the Cosmos stone like it's leader has it makes sense why their gravity control is poor.
BluRacer7 that makes me wonder, how do they gravity dive and drift at all?
@@bryceplayer1012 They don't need to use GP to slide turn, like every other wheel gear.
AlphaPWNY I know that, I’m talking about logic wise without the wheel drift.
@@bryceplayer1012 The act of using gravity control to get around a turn is not drifting...

Chuggaacola As soon as I finish the World Grand Prix with all characters, I'll do that next.
