Jim Seals doing Tuvan/overtone throat singing! As if our minds weren't already blown by this amazing man's talent. Still so sad that he's left us behind on this crazy planet, but at the same time I sure hope he's moved on to better things. Thank you for sharing this video!
Seals & Crofts were a musical gem, man, look this concert! Look this band! David Paich, Jeff Porcaro and Louie Shelton, the guitarist behind "Lionel Richie's Hello", wonderful!
I got so mad when the 8 track player ate this tape. I still have the cassette tape and the CD but between the 8 track and the cassette was about five years.
Their faiths welcomed all faiths . In the Bahai religion drugs and alcohol are a no no . In addition anger , hypocrisy, prejudice and jealousy are forbidden. They are advocates for world peace . These 2 made beautiful music together.

@@audreydakin8130 they all are. I've been listening to the solo music both Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams have put out and it's really good. They have all worked with so many artists
Wonderful! What is the date/venue on this? I see a trombonist too. Is Bobby on flute some? I have not seen this particular video before, thank you for posting!
Probably, mid-1973. "Hummingbird" entered the charts in March, and peaked at #20, around May of 1973...it was on their set list for sure during this tour, which was only 4 cities. They only did 3 or 4 city tours from 1972 to 1977. In 1973, they played Roosevelt Univ.,Chicago; Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Saratoga Springs, NY, and back to Springfield, IL.
Amo esta canción y a estos hombres ❤❤❤❤

Heartwarming to find other fans here. We are! Timeless love for this music, these guys…
One of the most underrated duos!
Saw them in concert in ‘75, great show. Jim Seals played about 7 instruments very well. Dash Croft’s voice was so clear. Great duo.
You should hear Seals and Crofts 2. Their descendents, continuing the music
Always loved their music it so uplifting and deep
Awesome, a lot of firepower up on that stage, wow!
Great live version of this song. Great vocals and a solid performance from the musicians.
Loved these guys since 1970’s my favorite duo, Rip Jimmy Seales
The Bass bounces all over this song. Great tune... about Buddhism.

I Thought That Was A Good Idea 👍 Thanks 🙏
A very young 19 year old Jeff Porcaro on drums. Many people don't realize that not only was he Totos drummer, but performed with many other musicians.
David Paich is on here also on piano and keyboard. Both were the founding members of Toto but wrote and performed with numerous others.
Paich & Porcaro we’re amazing talents!

Louie Shelton on electric guitar, an incredible session guitarist as well.
@@deborahgilliland1804 They met David Hungate to form Toto and ended up recruiting other members.

Bobby Lichtig played flute on some studio tracks. Live I think he played bass and they got someone else on flute.
@@patbuzby968 Wondered why the full list of musicians left some out🙃
