I dont understand your comment but I suppose it is about fabric.Different kinds of fabric shows slight differences in the result.I used satin fabric which is not very thick,thin or shiny.The measurement of the boxes should be accurate. 2 cm boxes will look different than a 1 inch box,well l mean the final look.watch video at 6:37 to see how you can get a square shape by cutting it.

i also use stain fabric same like you.but the problem i am facing that after the completion my complete degsine convert into like rectangular shape not like yours degsine and i used 1/1" boxes
