John Abraham tried to do the practical action sequences that you are talking about in Rocky handsome movie 2016 and that movie is by far the best action movie in India but unfortunately it did not work in the box office collection. So that kind of action movie was never made again until now in KILL movie. i hope this movie works in the box office collection but let's just hear the bitter truth that people will not watch it in theaters and will praise it when it will be available on OTT.

It is inspired from a real life incident of a Gurkha soldier Bishnu Shrestha
He was traveling via the Maurya express (Hatia-Gorakhpur) when 40 robbers entered the train near Chittaranjan , West Bengal started looting passenger's valuables
The Gurkha was asleep and had woken up by the robbers and gave his valuables when he saw a 18 year old girl passenger who was traveling beside him was harassed by the robbers who intended to rape her and the girl was asking for help
To which the Gurkha soldier replied by grabbing his "Kurkuri" (A knife which every Gurkha soldier carry) and started attacking the robbers
He engaged with 3 to 4 robbers and injured them and at one point , his knife fell and he got overpowered by the robbers and the robbers grabbed his knife and started using it against him to which he got injured in his left hand
Finally he fought all 40 robbers despite his injury and saved the girl and other passengers

@@sourabhsingh4515 completely agree with your point bro. Like my point is regarding few interviews where they implied that good action is all about budget. Like big Set pieces n all. But small things can make a great and engaging action. For example:-
1. Combat fatigue
2. Limited amo or resources
3. Hero also getting beat during action. Etc.
@@Storytellersunny nai bro you took it all wrong even with non popular actors the action sequences are demanding we are watching kill as the most brutal indian movie it indeed is but it will have a lot of cuts between the sequencees which makes it cost effective If you watch movies like John wick or extraction 2 not comparing but those one take shots look more appealing then these cut scenes which is only happening due to lack of budget and I appreciate these movies I'll watch it I loved the initiative and the fact that it is indeed inspired by a real story makes me more fascinated

The thing also with action movies our minds like is using or taking advantage of the environment (it can be any) that because this whole premise is set in a train they have priortized the action sequences more like blocks(what I mean by an action block with example is something likeAnimal hotel scene or John Wick 4 staircase scene) and they tried to use more close encounters and hand to hand fight scenes because of how claustrophobic the environment is

Attended the Delhi fan premiere of "Kill" today. The action sequences, helmed by both Korean and Indian action directors, are incredibly well-executed. It's a first for Indian cinema to see such graphic violence and gore depicted without any filters. The acting is also top-notch. Highly recommend this film for those who enjoy intense action, 8/10.
