Stroll through the somewhat nostalgic townscape of Kamiichi-machi, Yoshino-gun, Nara Prefecture

April 1, 1889 (Meiji 22) - Due to the enforcement of the town and village system, Kamiichi Village and Tateno Village in Yoshino District merged to form Kamiichi Town.
May 3, 1956 (Showa 31) -(Old) Yoshino Town, Kuninori Village, Nakasho Village, Nakaryumon Village, and Ryumon Village merged to form (New) Yoshino Town. On the same day, Kamiichi town disappeared.
I have taken pictures of a somewhat nostalgic cityscape near the place where Mt. Yoshino is nearby and tourists come in spring and autumn.
