If anyone is interested in buying it you would only need to read up on horizontal division to understand it properly and realise it’s not a problem and certainly not a red flag and a lawyer would confirm this 😊
Nice house but not owning the land outright is a BIG red flag for me. It means potential legal problems if you want to modify anything and your neighbors don’t agree. For 200k in that area I’d want to own the land under my house.
In the area most of the properties are of the same nature. Neighbours not agreeing to planning permission can prevent it even with a segregated property. The council always approaches neighbours in writing regarding objections no matter what the land category.

No, everything is private. It’s just the way properties are registered in the area. It’s not a problem at all otherwise of course I wouldn’t have purchased.

Yes the land is owned by the owner of the property as explained it’s called HORIZONTAL DIVISION.
Leasehold - not uncommon in many areas. In some countries even mandatory, not there, though.

it would be possible yes but really no need this is VERY common in Spain .
I’m maybe shouldn’t have mentioned it as many houses are this way but with it being mine I took the opportunity to explain it. It’s an official property category, not a problem.
