- disclaimer: "type" and "preference" are two different things to me (personally)... some people go for a specific type of person based on race, status, height, body type, skin color, etc.; while a preference could be a stronger liking or ‘comfortability'
i also make a lot of light jokes that aren’t to be taken tooo seriously, as i’m generally speaking from personal experience(s)/thoughts. never do i claim to know it all and i’m just making fair observations :,)
everyone, including myself, is allowed to have a preference and/or type so long as they aren't harming others verbally/mentally/physically in the process. respect is very possible while having a type/preference. just because i feel like someone having a preference is based on subconscious fears/limitations does not mean i might not be wrong, nor does it mean those people genuinely haven't had the opportunity to meet/be with someone outside their race.
i am just speaking for those who generally would like to date outside their race and have unfortunately cared what others think, or maybe limit themselves because of a racist family, or limiting beliefs
we're all guilty of it in one way or another, so i'm just poking fun :,3

7:31 i don’t think she has a preference for white men just because she’s dated more white men. race is just probably something she doesn’t think about when choosing a partner. just because your partners arent 50% your race and 50% another race doesn’t mean you have a preference it just means that coincidences happen and there are statistically more white people in the us than any other race. i’m not trying to be mean it’s just this is kind of obvious
you proved this when saying that you don’t date asian people. it’s not that you don’t like asian people you just haven’t had an opportunity to date them. but for some reason you don’t translate this to the people in the video

I wasn't saying she thinks of race when choosing a partner, either...that part was kind of just me simplifying the fact that she has had a pattern of dating white men; which to me kinda feels like she's naturally attracted to them. I've dated or had relations with mainly people who look like me so someone could say my preference is people of color or "black/brown" people... that doesn't mean white/asian people haven't liked me or claimed to...Maybe she has had black men tell her they're attracted to her, but she probably didn't like them back (that much I understand).
I also didn't say her preference writes off that she's not attracted to people within her race, I was just making a fair observation 😅
But her "preference" very much so could be different from her previous partners' race, I was just having a lil laugh but my main point of the video was never to judge, nor do I actually feel 100000% correct ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not them/her lol
