Nice video sir. So according to you if i have to visit Shirdi then via sholapur, ahemadnagar route will be good. Ryte? Leaving Bangalore around 4 am would be ideal. Can you suggest good exclusively veg hotels on the route. You have presented video in a nice manner. I am planning to visit Shirdi preferably after monsoon. I'd appreciate if you can suggest any travel tips. I am also planning to visit Shirdi by car. Thanks.
Thanks for the appreciation Sudhir! My suggestion is to travel via Sholapur as the road is good and you have less traffic. Before Chitradurga, you will find lot of veg restaurant enroute. After Chitradurga and between Bijapur, you have less hotels but the restaurant we stopped for lunch is a ok one. After Sholapur, you will again find good restaurant on the highway to eat. No travel tips, enjoy the drive and stop if you feel tired. You can break the journey in 1 and half days. First day until Sholapur or Ahmednagar. Second day you can reach Shirdi. Have a great trip
Can we cover Bangalore to Shirdi driving in one day with one driver only? I don’t want to stop in the middle and delay the journey, but I am not sure if it is practical.
@@ShashiKanthBoddula - If you are used to doing long drives - 16/17 hours with break… i suggest stop at Ahmednagar and start early morning as the stretch between Ahmednagar and Shirdi is under construction with diversion. Avoid night drive as much as you can… Happy Journey

Thanks Santhosh! You will be able to get the special Darshan ticket on one of the gates. They keep changing this so not confirming the gate but you can ask the hotel guy where you stay and they will tell you. Free Darshan is also quite good not like how you experience in Tirupathi. Book hotel and go as sometimes it is difficult to get hotel if you have long weekends.
Hi Rohit, I had to drive in the night so took the Sholapur - Ahmednagar route as you will find traffic and restaurants. I travelled between Shirdi _ Aurangabad - Sholapur long back and had found very less restaurants and traffic. Was not sure of the road also.
@@rohitjoshi734 Yes, I travelled 3 to 4 years back. It was being constructed. Went to Ellora temple and one of the Jyotirling (Grishneshwar temple) Road was good with few patches bad but it was more isolated so I avoided this time

Hi Akash, I took the Bangalore - Tumkur - Chitradurg - Bijapur - Solapur - Daund - Ahmednagar - Shirdi. The road condition is excellent along with less toll and traffic. You will avoid Pune traffic and also the traffic from Kolhapur to Pune. I recommend this route. The road from Daund to Ahmednagar and to Shirdi is under construction so sporadic bad roads
