thanks for sharing, we spent a ton on time at cat harbor (now 2 harbors?) 1959-1967 on grampas 42' chris craft cruiser. There use to be an old wooden boat sunk ( about 2/3 of the way back) on the left side as you are exiting, that yacht club building and the abandoned were not there. water seems to be clearer than back then, also the wide road at 9:30 was not there either. Seaplanes used to land in cat harbor, and we would watch them dodge sailboats when they landed. It has all built up.
Wow you made some great memories there! I’m glad the video took you down memory lane. We’ve been sailing to Avalon for 20 years since my kids were toddlers and they have some great memories from the island too! Thanks for watching and commenting.
You’re absolutely right! I remember when my son was about 6, we were going to the dinghy dock. He knew because it was packed we would have to approach with some speed to push the other dinghy’s out of the way. He would then need to rush up on to the dock with the painter. He did it and tied us off. He looked at me and said: “Dad I feel like a grown up.” They both learned a lot of independence on the island. (snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, and of course time at the arcade. I kept a journal back then and would write in it every year while we were there about our experience. They’re both in their 20s now. Wow, now you’ve taken me down memory lane lol!
that sounded like a good time, i was fishing one time off grampas boat and caught a heavy fish, grampa said i was caught in something, then took my pole and reeled in a 40 pound halibut, we ate like kings for several day,, this has been fun remembering the fun days of our youth (now 74, ouch)@@tcsadventures
nice commentary and video thanks for sharing
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment!

Very cool. I didn’t know much about this part of the island either. Looks like a fun trip!
Thanks for watching buddy!
i guess I'm kinda off topic but do anyone know a good website to watch new movies online?
@Ahmad Davis I use flixzone. You can find it on google :)
@Rocco Michael Yea, I've been using flixzone for months myself :D
@Rocco Michael Thank you, I signed up and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it!
Mike Armstrong is the only safe captain ever! Love him!
What a wonderful day full of exploration and adventure...awesome boat ride too....
How long did it take to go from Avalon to two harbors? Awesome video of the other end of the Island.
I think it was about 40 minutes. The seas were pretty flat when we went so probably longer with rougher seas. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Same question I had. So roughly 40 minutes.
Did you stay in the banning house?
No the video was shot in one day - went over in the morning and returned that afternoon.
