    For anyone wondering, the wobbly synth sound heard throughout is sampled from the segue between the end of Oxygène 4 and and the beginning of Oxygène 5 by Jean-Michel Jarre.

    His intense arrogance is so loveable... But even better is how much he was OBVIOUSLY right! And so obviously right that everything he produced came to pass. 100% of it.
    He's a genuine genius, genuinely arrogant, and genuinely correct.

      pretentious,but the music makes up for this egotistical knowitall,maybe its time i forget the people who made the music,which is usually the case,good music by wankstains

      @@MLochMusic glad i unlocked the memory,or was it a good idea,considering the date hes basically a young fella explaining himself,just in a coked up way,too right loch(you scottish?)they keep making the best music,looking back it sounds as fresh as it did when released,indeed,let the music do the talking,not this fella

      Have you considered that he might just be taking the piss? He is talking some next level jargon heavy bollocks here but its quite amusing in some ways.

    i own every album he made and i have a few singles. i buyed my 1st in the 90s when i heard his interview on radio nottingham in the 90s
    His music makes you realize life! And some times we tune into another way of looking at our whole world.
    He gives the impression that dimensions and the secrets of life! are just there!

    Lifeforms as far as I am concerned was the most forward and brilliant album of the 90's IDM era. Nothing comes close to the sheer breadth of textures, beats, noise and soundscapes and ultimately the sonic WORLD these two created in that album.

    Definite proof that if you do enough acid, you will start believing anything you say! You can't imagine Brian Eno or Autechre talking up Ego like that. Some great sonic moments in their past though, I'll give them that.

      autechre's music is boring noises without structure. FSOL's music is beautifully composed musical pieces taking place in vivid immerssive landscapes of a world unknown. They are allowed to be cocky.

  • @cruzion
    @cruzion 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    That should have been "not disparaging". It would have been an obvious mistake, taken in context with the rest of the post, and also with the previous posts. I guess spelling nazis' wouldn't notice that. You don't have to respond. No one is forcing you, or cares particularly. TH-cam opinions are some of the worst idiocy on teh interwebs, and some wanker policing spelling on them is an even bigger idiocy.
