Exactly! I want to see the person using their own products especially celebs because it’s so easy for them to come under fire for selling us one thing yet they use top of the line products. I wouldn’t buy the lipstick from Fenty Beauty until I saw Rihanna do a video of herself using her products. I want to make sure it’s not just another gimmick; a cash grab.
And THIS ladies is how you show up 10 toes down approachable and hands on for a hair product THAT’S BELIEVABLE. I actually buy that these are tips that Tracee actually does and that she has actually done her own hair before. No shade but 🤷🏽♀️👀-y’all know what new brand could learn a thing or two
A client of mine purchased a shampoo and conditioner from Tracy's line and brought it to me to try on her hair. I have to say I love them both. There are tons of curl care stuff on the market but and some of it is just trash. You can tell Tracy took the time and $$$$ necessary to produce products with quality you can immediately see and feel and smell.
In all my years I never thought to curl my curly hair 🤯🙌🏽 I only used curling irons on my straightened hair 😮 I love my PATTERN Blow Dryer but have never used their styling products! I am so trying 😍
We love you Auntie Tracee! Also, I’m obsessed with your Clarifying shampoo and I sing its’ praises to anyone that will listen! If you ever consider making more no or low fragrance products I would love to collaborate because I’ll be first in line to purchase and promote! Signed, a fragrance sensitive girlie 🫶🏾💛
I am fragrance sensitive as well and I would definitely be right behind you in the line! While I have one of the shampoos and 3 of Pattern’s conditioners, my favorite is the leave-in conditioner. I always keep extra on hand.
I used to get so excited to buy new hair products and try them out. Everything the product was supposed to do, it never did. Eventually, I no longer believed in a truly good product. BUT THIS RIGHT HERE just got me excited again, I can tell there is something special about this line. I will definitely be buying, for sure.
First things first, the models hair is gorgeous 😍. Secondly, I get emotionally happy when I see black celebrities with their hair lines that are passionate about it and are knowledgeable about what it does, i.e, Tracee, Tina Knowles, Tabatha Brown. It’s already something so spiritual about a black woman doing your hair, but to see that regardless of status, black women are just doing black women things is beautiful to me. 🎉 🥹. I just really love that!
Excellent tutorial: love the technique! Love the tools! I can't wait to get that curling iron in the smallest size I need that. I remember when you showed this technique on yourself years ago in the bathroom before you created Pattern and I've been obsessed with the technique/tutorial ever since-- I tried it and it really worked. I always use this technique to fix up my curls when I'm wearing it curly. TER is not new to this she's true to this.
I love love love Tracee!! She’s so beautiful and I’m so happy that she has her own hair product. I haven’t had a chance to buy it yet so I can try it out but I will because I want to style my hair in wash and gos. I have to make time though bc I have kiddos and sometimes I don’t have the time so I keep my hair braided a lot. This young woman’s hair looked beautiful!
Wow now this is how haircare products and founders show their customers how to use their products. Thank you Tracee. Excellent demonstration. Authentic as always ❤️
I LOVE the concept of "Curl HARMONY" (& continuity)❣ _Totally_ using that henceforth. 💯 Great tips all of us curly girls can use, thank you! I'm sending this vid to my mom & aunt who are _so_ fortunate to have naturally bouncy curls much looser than my coils ➿, this will be perfect for them. I'd also LOVE to see a product demo on a more textured coily gal in the 4c range, so I can see it in action and try for myself. Nonetheless, this was so satisfying and enjoyable to watch. 😍🤩 _Beautiful_ work, Tracee! Edit: I just viewed Faye In The City's demo with these *products AND tools, and **_honey... I LOVE‼_* 😃🥰
I definitely need to see a demonstration for us low pro and protein sensitive curly heads and what products and a good process to get them beautiful curls rocking
I am true 4c I don’t have a moisturizing shampoo I could only use a little cream of nature I love pattern beauty I can use this shampoo as much as I like and my hair is clean and soft thank u so much Tracee
Bought and used a mini Pattern travel set with shampoo, conditioner and leave in yesterday and bought big versions and then some today. I'm sold!! Thanks, Tracee!❤❤
You see now I was with Tracy up until she pulled out the curling iron! Because the reason that some of her curls are not popping at the ends, is due to some form of keratin bond breakdown/damage. She may already have heat damage, which is why some parts of her hair are not curling, like the rest. Putting heat specifically onto areas that are already heat damaged is just promising that those areas will never curl again. It’s better to put in a roller and recur it without heat or to just trim those parts off completely…. that right there to me is pretty much the definition of hairstyling versus hair care. You can put that iron on there and style her curls beautifully but are you truly caring for her hair or is she going to end up worse off a little bit further down the line than she is right now?
But remember she said shes not even putting the hair inside the barrel. So it doesnt seem like much damage its done its just a little touch up. But plus its a great way for her to advertise the irons anyway
❤Love that you are the one demonstrating your product, so hands on, I know I’ll try it. My hair has so many different heritage in it I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t have to press it or perm it if I put the black gel in my hair after it dries my hair is straight like it did more to it. But I don’t like using gel all the time. I can’t wait to see how my hair reacts to Pattern products. 🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾
I was excited to see pattern on a hair texture closer to my texture. However, realistically my hair is kinky 4b/4c... this lady appears to have a looser texture. I also don't use direct heat. Anyhow, I wanted to watch in support of Ms. Tracee Ellis-Ross and this is still a cool video to see her. Eing hands-on 🤗
I agree with Tracee, what I do is neverrr brush only use the old afro pic to seperate my curls, for me with diffuser I can get more curls. And if I want more volume, with the wire afro pic. And tease my curl a bit. Perfection. The curling iron is great idea. Cause I slick my back alot. So my front can use some help❤
Loveeee love love it ❤❤ . I don’t use tools that much . But I sure am getting this one . This is the exact problem I have with my curls right now . Some strands are wavy some are tight curls .
Very believable & personable. It's comes across best when Tracee's own hair is representative to her products! Do you have product safe for a 3 y.o. (my grandaughter) She has tight hair. Thanks for this vid ❤
Wow thanks for this demonstration!!! Hope you know how useful this is!! I’ve been permed most of my life but did a big chop a few years ago and am still learning how to navigate my natural hair! Thanks for this!🥰🥰. Wonder what her hair texture is?
Tracee is so cool. I bought Pattern velvet scrunchies, styling gel, and a comb. I may buy a curling iron. I would love to use more products. My hair is relaxed, usually worn straight. Does anyone know of any Pattern products that can make straight hair curly just for a different look once in awhile? I'd really appreciate some feedback. 🙂
This is why Pattern is so successful! Tracee is hands on, relatable to her audience and you see the results of her actually using her products. Kudos!
Beyoncé should take notes 👀
She really doesn't have to though@applepiehi

Love how Tracee is ten toes down in her business! ❤❤❤
Tracy please demo a 4c or extremely tight curl. ❤
This. 💯
I’d appreciate seeing a different curl pattern too!
I’d appreciate seeing a different curl pattern too!
Probably won’t work . She has 3a hair
Yes!!! I agree!
I need her to put in this much effort and life into a fashion line. She is by far the most underrated fashion icon of all time!
Nah she dresses ok and every once and a while it comes together. However this hair work looks promising.
Hhhmmm .... The things she wears are the things she likes🤷🏿♂️
Just so effortlessly stylish. My favorite out a pink halter dress with suede wedged boots that had cut our hearts.💕 Love
My 🙌🏾
🙌🏾 right !!!!
This is how you promote Pattern is her passion ♥️♥️♥️
Ok. 4c next. 😊
👍🏽
They would never
Right! They always go to the looser curl pattern gurls for the tutorials.
Just beautiful. And gorgeous set of curls 🤎
I am SOOOO impressed with Tracee’s knowledge!! She slayed her hair 😍 Now I need the curling iron 😂
Would love to see your styles, tips, and tricks on 4C hair with your products!
Yup
Same was hoping to see 4c hair
Why is 4c, high-porosity hair ignored or rarely, used in product demos?
@@kimberlyrussell3111perhaps because these products aren’t effective for 4c type hair
@@Hi.Shadowor because looser curl patterns are just easier for most stylists to work with

Factssssssss
Y’all are obsessed with tryna sneak diss when ppl literally tried her products saying they literally work. Just say you don’t like her and go!

Oh yes, 🐝 ‘s marketing team should take some notes here…
If you are hinting at the brand I think you are it should be noted that it’s not a natural/curly hair brand so not an apples to apples to comparison.
Period Tracee!!! You and Taraji are committed to this diy natural hair thang. It’s believable bc it’s obvious. Real shines through ❤
I love her talking to individual locks like they have personalities, because that’s the kind of foolery I do regularly. Tracee, me: same. 😂
A client of mine purchased a shampoo and conditioner from Tracy's line and brought it to me to try on her hair. I have to say I love them both. Ohhh yes I need that curling iron!! Sidenote I love the neutral color tones of these products it's so beautiful.
Her hair is beautiful!
Its STUNNING
Tracee’s tips be so good
In all my years I never thought to curl my curly hair 🤯🙌🏽 I only used curling irons on my straightened hair 😮 I love my PATTERN Blow Dryer but have never used their styling products! I am so trying 😍
I’m glad she used more kinky texture to promote this video
But it’s funny how she’s explaining … “ use this guy for the other guy” Tracee is a hoot😂😂😂
Is this the most kinky texture she’s ever shown?
This texture is barely kinky. This woman has different textures and most of them are looser. Type 4 would be the texture you’re trying to refer to.

BUT THIS RIGHT HERE just got me excited again, I can tell there is something special about this line. I will definitely be buying, for sure.
I never even thought about using a curling wand to perfect curls. Excellent tutorial!
I'm loving how she is actually in the videos doing demonstrations on people with her products. ❤
Tracee, let me know if you ever want to do my hair. 😅

I love my Pattern products and accessories. However it would be encouraging to do more videos on shorter hair with several different hair textures....

Hello, are there any videos of a model who has 4-A, 4-B, and 4-C curl pattern??... Thank you...
The comb would break. Sad to say but white media want the easy breezy method. Cons of living in a Eurocentric world.
