Crystal Bay Beach Koh Samui

Crystal Bay Beach is considered to be the best beach on Koh Samui. The crystal clear waters make it ideal for snorkelling and swimming. Between October to mid December the current & tide can get much higher due to the monsoon but for the rest of the year it’s a lot calmer making it ideal for families. There are also several bars and restaurants which are reasonably priced & plenty of shade to get out of the sun.

Dave, I have just booked a 4 nt stay at Crystal bay beach resort after your recommendation- looks stunning. Just liked to ask you, is there any bars within walking distance of the resort
and how far is Lamai and Patong by taxi

Hi Martin apologies for the late reply you do have a few local restaurants nearby.But best go into Lamai 5 minutes down the road by taxi for the main bars and restaurants.
Chaweng is about 20 minutes away the bar and food at Silver beach resort on Crystal bay is great.
