I always appreciate your detailed walk-through of your stay. I find it very useful for planning my own trips to resorts. Another great video!

Lovely video. Its so nice to see abit of Florida that isn't Disney or theme park based! Its years since I was in Florida must be 25 years now.

Love Florida just so very relaxing, we never do the theme parks now, just don’t think we’d cope with the queues and heat, and now it so expensive to get into these parks it’s horrifying

Ho Joanne & Steve. It looks great there so relaxing. I have never been abroad (I dont like flying) except once on a cruise, which I loved. I'm looking forward to Joanne making the waffle mix and you doing your waffles. Take care 😊

Yes 😂we’ll have to get around to making waffles, I’ll have to dig out the little waffle machine we’ve got x

Great video wondered if sometime Joanne could do a video of using your waffle maker. It’s something I’ve thought of buying but need to see it demonstrated. Many thanks Dianne

Hi Dianne, I may just do that but I’m no expert at all lol, we do have some other cooking videos on our channel, they do sometimes go wrong, making a curry paste for instance 😂😂, I’ll maybe give it a go xx

@@soditwereretiredooh thank you. Yes I’ve seen your other cooking videos & love them especially the Christmas cake & trifle. Things turning out wrong is of course a fact of life so never worry about that, we all experience it, even I suspect the top chefs! 😀

It’s always interesting to see there is (of course) another whole world to see in Orlando apart from the Theme Parks. Do you always go back to the same place? I’m always torn as it’s nice to be familiar but I always think there’s going to be somewhere better/more exciting/different so we tend not to. It’s years since we last went and it all looks so tempting but my hearts still with your last trip! 😜

We do go back to the same place as it’s just so easy and we know where everything is etc, but we’ve stayed in lots of different places over the years, Homosassa (might not have spelt that correctly) is beautiful. Next time we might do some of the east coast as haven’t been to Cape Canaveral for years.

Hi. We have just discovered your vlogs and are really enjoying them. We have visited Florida many times to do the theme parks but nownour son is older we are looking for some new ideas. Is this villa you are staying in the same as last yr? If yes do you have a link for it as it looks lovely. We are looking forward to your next vlog😊

Thank you for your comments, unfortunately the owners have decided to take it off the VRBO web site and only let friends and family go now, we’ve known them for quite a few years. There are loads of villas for rent on that web site though

@soditwereretired that's a shame it's not available. Do you have any recommendations on areas of rotunda as we do not know the area at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks 😊

Anywhere on Rotonda is lovely, it’s just a normal place where ordinary people live, and Port Charlotte has everything you want, it is quite a drive from Rotonda to the Port Charlotte Mall area where a lot of restaurants are, probably about 10 miles
Anywhere on the west coast of Florida is lovely and totally different from the east coast
