The Polar Bear boss is my favorite DKC boss. The music, the setting, the fact that it's a polar bear, and his animations are just so cool.
I guess in the the end, DK had a super swinging birthday after all

Bashmaster is definitely the best boss in the game, that was one hell of a great fight

What I like especially about this game is that when fighting a boss that keeps beating you, when you finally beat the boss you get to mash the X and Y buttons to satisfyingly watch DK punch the fcuk out of the boss and send it flying who knows where. I love this game BTW. Great video of course.😎

The bosses in this game were annoying AF to deal with, but so satisfying to finally beat. That's how you make a boss.

Ragnar Ahlman I disagree, I lost quite a few lives on that one during my first playthrough. Maybe it's just me being bad at old fashioned platformers, but I found all of the bosses pretty hard

I really got into donkey kong because of donkey kong returns that was my favourite childhood game, its what got me really good into Nintendo games as super mario bros wii was mainly completed by my friend. He finished it for me, but donkey kong returns was done myself cuz my best friend left my primary school. Now i totally changed, im a pc gamer playing stuff like overwatch, league of legends etc. From nintendo to playstation to pc. Oh the nostalgia...

One thing I must say is that there are not very many hard levels in this game compared to DKCR. However, the final boss is SO FRIKIN' HARD! If you are having trouble like I did (and I mean serious trouble), I highly suggest going to Funky's fly 'n' buy and getting the extra heart upgrade. It helped so much!

The only thing I wish the new dkc series had is the ability to switch between two characters in single player. I always preferred to play as diddy or Dixie.
Same here, there's always hard mode though.....where you could play as anyone.

Why does the part were you get to send the boss flying beyond the horizon remind me of every time when Team Rocket blast off? "We're blasting off again!" It was assuming to see it since the prequel Donkey Kong Country Returns.

I use Dixie most but each character has their own levels in my opinion.Dixie I use for the 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th bosses But I do better with diddy in the first and last ones.Also certain levels I need to use diddy and in some levels,cranky makes it SO much easier
