Discovered this song years ago and still to this day it is my all time fav. Simple but Great lyrics melded with tasty guitar / bass / drum rhythms...and then there are the classic Gilbert licks...geez makes me wanna jump up and rock out everytime.
This is definitely Paul! Accept no substitutes. I was blessed to catch these guys THE ONLY TIME THEY PLAYED LIVE (while wearing those spacesuits) at the Viper Room on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. One show, and that was it. I didn't even find out about the gig until the day of the show, Thanksgiving Day 2004. Called the venue and bought to tickets. Called my best buddy (and former bandmate) in LA and told him we had to be there. Called Southwest Airlines and booked a seat. Called the in-laws and told 'em not to expect me for supper. Hopped in my car and drove from 120 miles from Tucson to the airport in Phoenix and just made the flight. My friend picked me up at LAX, and we drove like mad to Hollywood, arriving just in time for the show.
@@charlesmassengale3687 Buckethead has "regular" albums, and a series of albums he calls Pikes, from his regular albums: A Real DIamond in The Rough, Albino Slug, Crime Slunk Scene, Electric Tears, Giant Robot; from his pikes: Claymation Courtyard, Hold me Forever (In memory of my mom), Crumple, Poseidon, Twisterlend, 3 Foot Clearance, Healing Inside Outside Every Side. You can find all of these here on TH-cam.
@@adoniswimo19 he's far from being better. Personnaly, i find Buckethead's albums boring and disorganized. It's difficult to find a guitarist as complete and in perpetual mutation like Paul. Furthermore with a solid songwriting.

Like Rush meets XTC. Shred Pop at its finest! What a fun ride that tune is!
Toppppppp, love this song
I've got a car cruising down the street
I wanna take you for a ride
Strap yourself into the passenger seat
And let me take you on a drive
You know my grandfather always said
That a man is only good as his tools
And my car's pretty good but
Space Ship One just rules
Space Ship One just rules
I've had a Volvo and a Cadillac
I've driven everything in between
I like the feel driving down the road
But now I just cannot forget what I seen
This little number's gonna say goodbye
To all the gravity and unleaded fuels
Yeah my car's pretty good but
Space Ship One just rules
Space Ship One just rules
I've saving money gonna get me a ticket
And I'll buy…
BIG Rush influence in this song.
Love it. So good :)
Damn straight! 👊🏻
PAUL IS GOD
