i remember being linked w him in the january window of 2022 but we went for gakpo instead, im glad we gave gakpo he’s got great potential but kudus does seem to have more of an end product. Gakpo for me is good at beating a man and getting a cross in but kudus can do basically everything, the only thing gakpo has over him is probably crossing ability and heading
The only thing is that kudus is more injury prone then Gakpo thats also why he didnt play much in his first seasons for Ajax.

@@timmy5876 there where allot of different injuries he did have a hamstring injury but only once so probably not a recurring injury. His last season at ajax was the first season he played allot so thats why he probably wasnt in view at Liverpool.

Mo Kudus is a good player, versatile enough to play in several positions. However, a caveat with him, as with many African and South American players, is the potential to lose motivation and experience a drop in performance levels. This is why I think Dani Olmo is the better choice. With only a £50m release clause, he's a much cheaper option and a better player, more polished, more creative, and versatile. He could potentially be the Prem's next De Bruyne.
Kudus is a great player. He is going to over score in a team that constantly attacks. West ham defensive style is the reason for him not being able to score many. Honestly you should have bought him earlier he's worth 80million$ That is for being late.
He's the perfect replacement for Salah. Not even 24 and already has all of the attributes Liverpool need, he's essentially a Mane/Salah hybrid.

I love Kudus from afar but I believe his numbers are very similar to Luis Diaz who isn’t efficient enough in front of goal
He plays for West Ham, a more defensive side. You can't compare their numbers. At any bigger club it would be a different story...

Sorry to bring bad news but the release clause does not come into effect for another year. To get him out of West Ham this summer will cost considerably more than £85m. West Ham will not let him go for anything less than silly money. Will Liverpool pay more than £100m this year? I'm not sure.
He's very good for west ham, but he doesn't play against low blocks and has never scored as much as Salah. I understand it might be unrealistic to expect that, but £85 M for 11 goals is a lot. I like Kudus and he stays healthy, but we'd need to get a main striker that will score 25 goals too.
He plays in a defensive team, when he was at ajax and they were playing attacking football he 22 goals that season, he was in the champions league group with Liverpool and napoli that season he even scored against both teams remember he scored Liverpool at anfield he had 4 goals two assists in 6 matches in that champions league

If we have that much amount of money to spend in the summer, it is better to spend on elite or diamond in the rough defensive mid. As good as Endo has been this season, i dont think he can takes u into the next level as Fabindo did in the past few years.
It is not coincidence that we start leaking goals here and there after Fabinho starts to decline and eventually leaves the club. If we improve our defensive capabilities, our forwards can only focus on to find goals and dont have to put much efforts to help our defences.
I will list in order on what we should focus on as priority:
1. Elite/high ceiling Defensive Mid
2. A new CB to fill in Matip’s place in the squad
3. A new backup LB as Robbo and Tsimikas are nearing 30 years old
4. A backup RW as Salah future at the club is uncertainty right now with only 1 year left on his current contract
5. A backup forward as Jota is too injury-prone

We are talking about Edwards here. He will never sanction this deal unless some very big guns leave the club, like Jota, Diaz, Salah. He is very expensive and there are more pressing matters like a DM and a CB. Also, people talking about him being Salah's successor are delusional. He is very good, but a different profile, far more like Mané instead of Salah.
