Spent my childhood near to this temple at old town, remembered when my father used to take me or bring the prasad to home in clay pots, nostalgia, i still love prasad food, they taste the best!! But the price of ananta basudeb prasad has been raised exorbitantly nowadays....my experience

I have been going to this place for more than 20 years. Our regular shop is Pitabasa Mahaprasad and we have been buying from that shop and also ordering in bulk quantity for various occasions. The person sitting there knows me well. My best liking is-Oria,sola tarkari and khatta or dahi pachedi. They also have a shop inside Lingaraj temple where that shop sells Lingaraj prasad but that comes out late,after 1 PM. Me and my mother many times visited daytime to get darshan and eat there because this prasad is easily available but that prasad many do not know. There is also another anandabazar there inside lingraj temple where you can sit and eat.
We miss these yummy recipe near to my home, thank you sunham for this lovely vedeo, we miss it mumbai here,

There is another place which serves good prasad. Recently came to know about it although I visited that temple 15 years back. Then they did not have the prasad system. There you can get prasad and kotha bhoga. Normal prasad is Rs 80 with plain rice, with oria rice it's Rs 90 and special prasad is Rs 120-130(both oria and sweet kanika or plain rice if you want) depending upon the items. One special meal is enough for 2 normal eating person. Rates of Kotha bhoga is not known as I brought the prasad. One can eat there too and also order for various occasion by contacting them. This temple is situated in Unit-V. The best way is from AG square, travel towards Raj Bhawan on main road. After crossing Bhubaneswar Club, there is a U turn there. Take the right turn in that U turn and go towards 9 tala building road. When you make the right turn into 9 tala building road, this temple is 20 meters from the turn,on the left side. Go after 12 PM when prasad comes out but before 2 PM as on Monday,Thrusday, the prasad gets finished early. The timing is from 12 PM to 3 PM but it would be better to reach there at 12:30 PM or 1 PM. Visit there once to try. Thanks
