This is good... In fact very good... But so much scope of improvement... I would give 5 out of 5 but after using it over the years you can see so much that needs to be done... In Mumbai rain it is not that effective but yet it does a great job... Such a relief to have this... Also so confused why is there no glove cover... Need good quality rain gear in India the market is huge
Yes, after using it personally over the years, I've realized they work work well in not so harsh conditions.
@@MGVlogs1102 true... If external conditions like less to moderate rain, small puddle even muck, i haven't tried this on ice but heavy rain it doesn't doesn't do that will... But still this is great...a very good product... But it needs to improve on the quality of material it uses something that can withstand heavy usage like making it thicker, improve the stich quality to avoid seepage something they can take inspiration from basic rain wear made by local companies like zeel & reliable... That would be expensive but also awesome...i don't have riding boots, i will eventually but it because these riding gears are very expensive but i think if you go on short trip or a long tour wearing a proper riding boot with these boot covers it would work easily as riding boots provide fair amount of rain protection... But you don't ride like that so much... This product is basically used in monsoon for daily work commute so i think they should look to improve on these aspects... Again great product but scope to improve

It does its job, but if you want to submerge it in water completely and then check its waterproofing capability, I wouldn't recommend that, and we have nothing in the market that meets those standards at the moment

Nice video but lose the music, or at least turn it RIGHT down. It's very distracting.
I just got these. I tested them in a bucket of water and it failed. I know it's a stupid thing to do. But, people who are planning to buy it ahead of their Ladhak ride and expecting it to do wonders in the water crossings... Think twice..
Depends on the test.. the water will seep through from above though it has some elastic.. but apart from that I feel it's good for moderate rain.. My suggestion will be to wear the rain pants over it so the water doesn't enter from above
My foot was immersed ankle deep. Say 5 inches deep and it took less than 10 seconds for the water to seep in. It's meant for water splashes and moderate rain. But definitely not water crossings.
Oh! Will surely test that soon and see if it's the same result with my pair
