The broken ornament coasters look amazing, Going to have to see if I can get the money together for some good resin. I have 2 different resins, one for flooring that has yellowed over the years and a newer one that when it dries it produces cracks. And millions of tiny bubbles that don't float to the surface so they won't pop. But I definitely want to make some coasters now!
I clicked with low expectations as I've been burned before on some of these vids... but this one was legit.😊 1, 2 and 5 were my favs, but I also liked the 3D affect on the coasters.
I think I took on too big a project for a beginner, and I've totally discouraged myself from further attempts - 5 ornaments and one coaster; resin leaking and spilling over everywhere! You make it look so easy, Ace! I think I'll stick to watching you work your magic from now on. 😂 Happy Christmas to you, and thanks for the wonderful video :)
Oh no, sorry to hear that 😣 Sometimes you just need to take a step back and re-approach with an open mind when you feel ready to try again. Start with smaller projects until you are more familiar working with the resin, and you'll soon regain the confidence to progress ♠

I like how the designs don't follow established design rules, like for color mixing and spacing. The random looking results make the projects much more approachable, unlike the perfect looking ones done professionally. These look like real people could be successful.
Very nice! Love the candle idea best. The coasters with the glitter swirls looked perfect without the broken ornaments. I would do the broken ornaments but over a plain background so as not to cover the pretty glitter swirls that made it look like my favorite hard candy. :D - Heidi

Hi, all resins have different cure times, and the room temperature also makes a difference. The art resin I use has a gel time of a few hours and a full cure time of about 24 hours. If you check the datasheet for your brand of resin it should give you some guidelines.
