I made this video during the UK lockdown, using my exercise time to make this video of my walk in Castle Park, Colchester on a beautiful early summer day. The walk was filmed on Wednesday 6th May 2020, early afternoon.
The walk started in Castle Park near the Visitors Information Centre but I took a quick detour down the very pretty Roman Road which features mostly Victorian houses, all well maintained.
I ‘earthed walked’ the entire video (walked barefoot).
Couple of reasons why I do this - I think the footwear industry is extremely wasteful, damages our environment and promotes unnecessary consumerism, so just doing my little bit in an attempt to make some difference. Also being barefoot helps my mental and physical health, it's just generally good for my wellbeing. It doesn't suit everyone one though, each to their own.
I would love to bring more diversity to my content other than my town (nobody planned for a global lockdown!) so please subscribe and I promise much more to come.
The video was made using a DJI Osmo Pocket camera, with DJI ND16 lens filter. I also used a DIY binaural mic made from two modified DJI FM-15 FlexMics, detailed in a previous video.
